Pumpkin Carving

We had a lot of fun carving pumpkin and the kids get to draw a "face" and Matt tries as best as he can do carve. This time they even help take out the guts... They were a little disgusted  and did not want to touch but we manage to get them to touch it once.

To the Mountain we Go!

I am getting old and so much wiser now ( ha ha ha)! Ok I just turn 30 ( ouch)  and had the best birthday thanks to Matt and my in laws. We had a great picnic at Estes Park and visit. it was a lovely day and as beautiful as the birthday girl ( ha ha ha). I love going to the mountain, so relaxing and peaceful and the kids has a great time. Maddie slept the whole time and Genne and Alex has so much fun trowing rocks in the lake. We got to eat mountain meat (KFC), watermelon and the most amazing red velvet cake EVER!

Thank you everyone for making my birthday so special... Hoping for many more years to drive each and everyone of you crazy, he he he!

Here some pictures I took while up there ( took a bunch but I am feeling way too lazy and tired to edited more)... So enjoy those :)

Visit to the Park

Since potty training did not go so well, I decided to try again in the summer and took the kids to the park today. We had an awesome time climbing, jumping, swinging and running around. By the time we were done, I was sooo tired from running around with them but they had a great time!  After the park we went to Mc Donald for lunch and poor Alex was very upset because he saw a Red Box with Wrack-it Ralph and wanted to watch and no matter how I explained to him that was not possible, the poor kid just did not get it and people were watching... I was just thinking, the poor kids is autistic and barely understand anything I am trying to tell him so stop the staring and move on with your day!

Enjoying Life

It is cold in here, so we just been having as much fun as one can have inside our house. Life is treating us well.

Alex is progressing a whole lot with his speech. He is actually answering "yes" or "no" questions which have made life a lot easier for us. He is interacting more often and seem to be wanting to communicate more. His teacher are very proud of him in school and they all always have nothing but great things to say about him. They said that he is interacting with his classmates better and knows them all by name and will often try to talk to them. We are very proud of his accomplishment, especially teaching himself to read, he is such a smart little guy. He is now in CTR 5, my little guy is growing up too fast. He have added noodles to his diet, so now he eats pizza, hotdogs, noodles, bread, tortilla, chicken nuggets, waffles and pancakes ( boy oh boy, does this kid loooves his pancakes).

Genne is as sassy as ever and full of personality. She is very sweet , especially to big brother, she likes to give him hug when he is upset and the only one who can calm him down when he is having a bad day. Whenever, Alex is crying, she will hold her arm up and say: " Come her buddy" and Alex will go to her and she will pat him on the back and tell him"it's ok", that usually do the trick to calm him down but when I do that he just get worst! She still wants to stay in school with Alex, so I am in the process of hopefully getting her to go this fall. She can count to 10, know her colors, really good at saying "please" and "thank you" and is our litlle social butterfly. She is now a sunbeam and is trying to get use to the no snack and toys. Her new favorites to eat even though she eats pretty much anything is egg and pancakes, so we have that 4 or 5 time a week now.

Matt is working hard as usually to provide for us. He is enjoying his job and happy to be close to families. we love when daddy is home. He is now in the primary. He is happy and that is all we can ask for♥ and soon he will be a daddy of three.

I am doing ok, not too crazy about the cold but I'll get over it. I am half way through my pregnancy and get to find out what we are having on Monday ( so excited). Alex been having some hard time in Primary and refuse to go, so now I am his teacher and hopefully that will help him a bit to getting use to go. I am looking forward to June so I hold our little bundle of joy but until then I an just surviving one day at the time.

Here some fun pics for those of us who can't get enough of their cuteness.

PS. stay turn for Monday to see if we are having a girl rascal or a boy hooligan!
