Happy Haitian's Flag Day!

This year, I decided it was time to make it big and get the kids into the habit of celebrating their other half ...So, I made them their very first Haitians flag day outfit.

 I made their t-shirts out of a couple t-shirts that my mom sent but were way too big...I really like how they turned out, they are not perfect but they sure look cute wearing  them...I don't want to blow my own horn but "toot toot", I think they are great if I may say so myself which I do,hehehe. What do you think?

  And here is Genne tutu, of course...No outfit is complete with out a pair of bows and tutu...I even make my own image using a picture of the flag to put on the bottle cap for the center of the bows, again...Toot, toot!

Standing up all by Himself!!!!

Three weeks ago, Alex learned to stand on his own for more than just a few seconds. Now, he does it all the time and even took a few steps once in a while, (I will take a video soon, Roselaure). So, nothing really new is happening, except that Matt started school again... We get to see him one hour everyday between school and work and the weekend. We always look forward to those time we get to spend with Daddy. We recently, went to the doctor with Alex and he is 19.09 lb and 29 in long and corently 10 months old. The receptionist kept on calling him her and when I finally told her that he was a boy, she said that he was too pretty for a boy. He is a smart and interesting litlle boy and I am glad I get to see him learn new things everyday. He loves going under the table and the couch and his high chair... no matter how often he gets stuck, so he will be pretty good at boot camp stuff.

Back in Provo!!!!!

We haven't being up to much, but all of us been sick since we got back, fortunately we all fine now but the dry weather is still bothering me a bit. Well, matt is working from 1PM to 12 AM with mean my evening are pretty much spend with Alex at home. The good thing is Matt is enjoying his new shift, and Alex and I get to spend quality time together. Now, I am cherching for a new habit, so if anyone have any idea let me know.

Well, Alex is crawling all over the place and standing by holding anything he could fine. So, we finaly got our apartment baby proof and redecorate his room (Thank you Mom and Dad for the rocking chair), we even have his name on the wall and got him some new toys thanks to auntie Roselaure. He loves his toys eventhough some time he'll rather play with Daddy's playstation III and all the controllers and the books. He is so much fun now and very active. He crawls everywhere and on Sunday at church he kept crawlling a poor litlle baby trying to take a nap.

Happy Mother's Day.

I had a great Mother's Day just because we spend the whole day together. Matt was very nice to do all my chores...Even with a sore back...He made breakfast and dinner and get Alex ready. We were early for church for the first time and he said it was because he took care of everything, he claim that he is faster than me. But what you don't know is that, while he was in the shower, I prepare the diaper bag and even put Alex' closes next to him and even then he forgot to put on shoes...which I have to do almost on our way out. No complain there, he was sweet enough to take care of dinner (Spaghetti) which was very tasty, mostly because I did not have to do it. Alex and I spend relief society together and could not stop making cute noise and making Shannon and Alicia laugh. However, when we got home, he wasn't very happy, and was crying a lot, so we think he may be teething. I am just hoping he doesn't get too sick, he been a pretty healthy baby so far.

Being a mother is a wonderful thing and I am lucky to have such a supportive and helpful husband to make my job much easier and enjoyable. Without him, I probably wouldn't be the Mom that I am today.

Live in Provo.

We haven't really do anything much, but we been having fun watching Alex trying to crawl around. He is getting so much better at it. He is like a callapillar now, he moves his head then his bottom. It is so cute to watch. He is so close and adorable and he is working really hard at it. However, now he could move backward a bit.Usually, we tried to put his pacifier in front of him and have him try to go and get it. Give him some goals or something to focus on.





Look at me and see what i can do now and I don't even cry anymore. Oh yea!!! I am a big boy now!!! Coooolllllllllll...........

He is starting solid now. I like to feed and watch him put his fingers in his mouth at the same time. So, he hands get all dirty and put it everywhere around him and even try putting his toys in is mouth full of food. We tried squash, carrots and peas and sweet potatoes cereal. He is getting so much better a it and doesn't pouch it out anymore. I think his favorite are carrots just because he seen to eat it better and faster and squash is his least favorite. We got him new closes and shoes because he already outgrow all the ones he had. It is amazing how fast they grow, even if I spend everyday with him, I still can believe he is already 6 month and a big boy now.

On Saturday, we went to see granpa Riggs. It was nice to see him again, We spend about two hours and talked about a whole lot of stuff. We will probably see him at least once a month and give him some company. It was nice for Alex to meet his first great-granpa. At first, he was a litlle weird and was staring at Daddy while he was on gradpa's lap but after a while he was ok with it and started to look at grandpa and smile at him. Then he did belly time on grandpa's carpet and actually enjoy it. Next time we go there I will get a picture of grandpa and Alex to post.

story time

Last week, we got him some books and a wonderful bedtime story which he loves very much. So, I read him story almost every night, when I am not too tired. Look at him ready his book, it is about car with a big pictures and shiny colors. Doesn't he looks adorable reading his own book? Looks like, he is actualy reading and loves trying help flipping the pages while I read to him . He is such a lovely kid.

Right now, he is pulling out my shirt and making Baby noises. He is become so active and so much fun to play with.

Big boy !!!

Alex is getting so much better at holding his own bottle. Now, everytime it is feeding time, he always try to hold his own bottle. At night time, he always help by holding his bottle while I change his dippers, which is so nice since I am always so sleepy.

I am learning to quilt now, so Sister Arthur is teaching me. We been going to her apartment since yesterday and Alex loves playing with her kids. He had a great time there and barely sleep because there so many distraction around. He loves playing with their faces and watching them running around like crazy. Her kids are so sweet and wonderful, there are Jhon, Eren, Hannah and cute litlle Rebacah. They always have all those cute stories, I can wait when Alex start talking so he could tell cute and wonderful stories too, now, he just blabbers or plays with his spits.

Belly time.

Belly time was never a fun time for Alex. He will cry and cry until I pick him up. However lately, he seem to enjoy it much better since he started to push his botton up and get to play with his stuff animals. He is starting to roll over which he does now, whenever it is belly time. I guess, he found a way out of the system by rolling over his back, so he could avoid being on his belly.

pushing up, soon he will be crolling, can't wait fir that day. He is growing up so fast.He had enough so he strated to cry.Then He fall asleep, after crying and ctying and crying for about ten mins.

Wonderful world of fingers.

Alex finally found his fingers and now they either always in his mouth , taking his bingky out , even his socks out or slapping the litlle toys on top of his bed. He is so active and wonderful. Now, he touches everything. The orther day, i went to the laudry and brough him with, i was putting the wet clothes in the dryes and he was grabing them and trying to put it in his mouth.
