Well... He Darn Did it

Alex decided it was time for some redecoration, so he cut up our couch cover to help speed up the process. 

Thank you so much buddy... By the way, I am really proud of the way you were holder those pair of scissors so well and for not cutting yourself.

Hmmm... Yea...

When you put a couple kids to bed and you hear laughing and things flying around, one may think, "Awww, it's so cute when they play so well together after bedtime, without the screaming and yelling!"...But that is not what I got last night when I heard a very unfamiliar noise... so a little something told me to go check on them, even though they were both still awake. So, I opened the door in hopes that it was nothing (just them playing rough with their toys) but nope, I opened the door to a completely destroyed room with graffiti ALL OVER THE WALL and everything in their closet on the ground and little filthy children covered in Halloween make-up... So I did what anyone else would do...Ok, ok...maybe just me... Sat them on the couch - took their pictures - and give them a bath. By the time I was done putting lotion on them, they were both out cold. Alex even got mad at me for trying to move him around to put lotion on his back while he was trying to fall asleep because clearly it is my fault that he is still awake.

It was part funny, part annoying because I was going to work on some projects that I have been putting off since who knows how long. They looked really funny, but having the room be off-limits is annoying because they have to sleep with us (I got woken up multiple times during the night by a certain little girl who rolls around in her sleep like a fish out of water) and today I have to go clean up the wall, reorganize their closet, wipe their beds, change the sheets and wash the rugs in their room and still manage to go my everyday things done that I had to do today... Al tough, I might need to wait until Matt gets home to clean their room because I don't want them in there and I (obviously) can't leave them in any room by themselves.

The poor walls in our home have been through so much - got the paint peeled of them, were smeared with poop, and now are covered with crayons and Halloween's make-up. Good thing we only have a few more months left before they are going to repaint this place anyway.

Genne was saying "cheese" and Alex was annoyed because he was sleepy (since it was all my fault that he was still up) and I was (clearly) trying to annoy him by cleaning him up and taking his pictures at 10:00 at night.

ALL the clothes that was in the closet were on the floor and also stuffs that were on top of the closet's shelf.

Yep, he writes "Nick" everywhere he can, including our big family picture in our room.

This morning when we went to the room, he looked at the wall and said: " What's that?"... Jeez, I don't know... I was hoping YOU would be able to give me a clue on that matter.

At Least He Loves Bath-time !

I needed to keep him up so I send him to the balcony with some chalks. He had so much with them and got me 1 1/2 whole hours. By the time he was done, they were all over him and his shoes. . . At least he had fun !

What am I going to do with this kid!? We took everything out of his room, so he couldn't go on top of his dresser, but as always he finds himself a way.

Yesterday, he had finally learned to climb over the child barrier that put in from of the bathroom. He was really quiet( usually that is when I worried ) but I could hear him moving things around from the moniter in his room, so I did not go and check, thinking he was in his room. After a while I dicided to go see what he was up to, I did not find him in his room, so I started to wonder where he could possible is since our bedroom door was close, to my very suprise he was standing on top of the toilet, taking things off the shelfs to put them where they belong which is on the floor. At first, it was a total mistery to as how he got in there because I saw him try miltiple time to climb in there and had always failled but now we now that practice makes perfect and to never give up, hope he will keep that attitude when he gets older.

Yes, he had his pacifier, we had a rough and grumpy day! We sure hate it when the sun doesn't come out and we have to stay inside all day.

Lately, Alex had tried to take his shirt off by himself and today he had succed. He is such a clever child, but still working on his pants, got his diapers though. I am just hoping he won't try to take his clothes off in public.

First, pull his shirt over his head, where he walks all over the place like a mad kid ( hitting himself on the couch or wall because he couldn't see). He was sad watching him bouncing everywhere but I got tired of pulling his shirt down and I want to see if he will actually get it out. And I figure the earlier he learns to put his clothes on my himself the better, except the fact that he only knows how to take them off for now .

As soon as he got it over his head, pull it out arm by arm, pretty clever for a 21 months.

He will come push the TV and make himself a confortable spot to sit and try to watch TV while sitting next to it. I have no idea where that kid gets those wild ideas from, but he sure keeps us busy and entertain.

By the way, he wasn't crying; Just screaming on top of his lung because he is Alex. He thinks that's pretty cool.

He went to the closet and got himself a red ink pad from my scrapbooking stuff. He got it all over him , the closet's door and the carpet. I don't know what to do with that kid anymore. . .He is getting out of control.

How wrong were we, when we thought that Alex had exploir everywhere in our small apartment. The other day, he found a new spot and spend about two hours destroying everything and taking anything on the top shelf and drop them on the floor.

I know, he likes to climb anywhere he can. That explain why he likes stuff monkeys. We can't even have chair around our kitchen table anymore because he uses them to get to the table.
