Our Vacation....( Colorado )

A Buffulo at the Colorado border from wyoming Our journey to Colorado started at 4 AM on Saturday. We got there around noon after a great drive. Alex was merciful... he slept almost the whole way, but this time I was awake for most of the journey. When we got home, we had a great time playing with the boys on the water slide. It was nice to see everyone and we had a great week there. On Sunday, we went to church with Brian in the singles ward. It is kind of fun because there are no babies or kids and Alex always makes sure they know he is there by making cute little squealing noises.

At one point, Alex was very sick with 108 fever but two days later he was back to is normal happy self. On tuesday, we went to the mountain and had our traditional KFC chicken on THE BENCH. Then we went for a walk around. We even fed the ducks. It was fun watching ducks fight with each other to get to the food first. And Eric had a great time throwing food to them, infortunately Michael was sleeping and did not get to do it too.

The mountains there are so beautiful, but don't let Matt know I said that, because I will never hear the end of how much prettier they are than the ones in Utah...Which are all brown and look like dirt.

It is always nice to be outside and enjoying nature with all the things that make it so special and wonderful... Like that wonderful water fall and the elk.

Aww!!! He was alseep the whole time, poor litlle guy, he was so sick and tired. It was cool and windy, so we wrapped him up in a blanket while Daddy carried him around. And there he is having a good time with grandma.

On wednesday, we went to the temple for Erin's endowment. It is always nice to go to the temple for an endowment and Mom was very happy because all her kids were at the temple. After that we went to Chilli and had a blast. On, Thersday, we had a girl night out... We did our nail and hang out a litlle and the boys went to the movie to see Iron Men. Well, our week is not really over, so I thing I will do a different post for the day of the wedding and the day before.

Growing up!!!

Alex is starting to blabber and he does a whole lot of them. His words are "Da", "Ma" and "Ba" and also he loves making turtle face. He is crawling now and we have to follow him everywhere. Putting him on the sofa is out of question, he always trys to climb everwhere, especially all over me . well, he is teething now, so he doesn't eat as much anymore but still a happy kid...And his fevorite now is oatmeal and banana cereal which he eats twice a day. He is also, getting better at eating by himself and even gets messier now.

Matt will be n vacation next week, so we will visit some family. On Saturday, we will be in Colorado and on Sunday the 8th, we will be in Miami. We are pretty excited to see evryone and plus my Dad will be in town. It will be nice to see him again.. It will be one year and half since we saw him .

Hopefully, I will get some pictures to share with everyone, and keep you update.

Big boy !!!

Well, well, well, my litlle boy is growing up so fast. He is sitting by himself, so close to crawl and now he can even feed himself cereal. It is amazing, how fast they grow and watching then learn new trick is howsome. He brings so much joy into our life!!! Now, he only eats solid food during the day and formula at night. He loves those litlle gerber fruit and vegetable... He eat twice as much as enfants his age... He eats 3 of those 2nd food in one feeding and he eats four time a days, plus aotmeal and banana cereal for breakfast.

Yesterday, we went to the doctor and he is 17 lb 7 oz and 26 in. He got his four shot and sleep for three hours afterward. He is such a good kid, he cryed while getting his shot and was sleeping by the time I made our next appointment. He is healthy and doing great for his age , he is also developing right on time.

I had to take his close off because he gets really messy and have food everywhere; his hair, his face and even his ears... not sure how they get in there.

Ow!!! he looks so precious!!!! And whenever he will put some in his mouth and don't get any, he always cry. It is so cute to watch.

Now, he roll over all the time and like to sleep on his belly. So, the other day, he was sleeping on his belly with his buttom up the air. It was so funny, We had a great time laughing and had a hard time stoping . Well, here a picture ... Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Happy Mother's Day.

I had a great Mother's Day just because we spend the whole day together. Matt was very nice to do all my chores...Even with a sore back...He made breakfast and dinner and get Alex ready. We were early for church for the first time and he said it was because he took care of everything, he claim that he is faster than me. But what you don't know is that, while he was in the shower, I prepare the diaper bag and even put Alex' closes next to him and even then he forgot to put on shoes...which I have to do almost on our way out. No complain there, he was sweet enough to take care of dinner (Spaghetti) which was very tasty, mostly because I did not have to do it. Alex and I spend relief society together and could not stop making cute noise and making Shannon and Alicia laugh. However, when we got home, he wasn't very happy, and was crying a lot, so we think he may be teething. I am just hoping he doesn't get too sick, he been a pretty healthy baby so far.

Being a mother is a wonderful thing and I am lucky to have such a supportive and helpful husband to make my job much easier and enjoyable. Without him, I probably wouldn't be the Mom that I am today.

On Saturday,we went to see our friend in Salt-Lake...They have two daughters and a son, two months older than Alex...We had a good time there. There youngest daughter, Cloe, always is such a cutie and love Alex. At one point of the time, she was trying to ride her litlle brother like a horse...Poor litlle guy, trying to get away but couldn't. She also always kissing the baby, and this time, it was really funny because of something she said.

And there she is touching Alex head and that when she said:" OH!! MY GOSH!!! SOOOO CUTE!!". We all just bursted out laughting. That was the funniest and cutest thing, I have ever heard.

Getting a hand at crawling...

Today, Alex started to go on his knees, which is very close to crawling! He is so smart and really good at trying again and again. I am so happy I got it on video and now I can share it with everyboby. Well, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I got some pictures too...even though I kind of got carried away... I just love taking pictures of him, he is so charming.

6 months ago, we had a baby named Alexandre Beralus Vinton, who has brought us all the joy in the world. He is everything we ever wanted and we love him very much. I am so glad that I get to spend everyday with him. The first two months were really hard... especially when we did not know he was allergic to milk! And Daddy had to work and study for his series 7 and 63... However, now times are the best ever. We have a great time hanging out with eachother everyday. I love being a stay-at-home Mom and watching Alex grow and learn new things everyday. He is the most adorable kid I've never seen, and it is not because he is mine, but because he is everything we've ever wished for and even more.

Meeting with Clark

On Saturday, Alex and I had the chance to meet a few aunt and uncles and cousins from the Clark side. We had a great time and it was nice meeting them all, they are great people. We met, aunt Catheline, uncle james, uncle Richard, Mike and his wife, Marshell, Holly,Kristen and her husband Dave. We met at the Brick Oven, had lunch and hung out in the parking lot for a while and we had a great time chatting with everyone. Holly hold Alex the whole time and we had a great time staring at everyboby and even smile.
In the afternoon, we went to uncle Paul's parents to play card. We had a great time. We played Ticket to ride ... A real fun game. They are great people and next weekend we will go to Washington and meet Granpa and more aunts and uncles. We are pretty excite about that trip and hope Alex will be ok for the ten hours drive.

We haven't really do anything much, but we been having fun watching Alex trying to crawl around. He is getting so much better at it. He is like a callapillar now, he moves his head then his bottom. It is so cute to watch. He is so close and adorable and he is working really hard at it. However, now he could move backward a bit.Usually, we tried to put his pacifier in front of him and have him try to go and get it. Give him some goals or something to focus on.





Look at me and see what i can do now and I don't even cry anymore. Oh yea!!! I am a big boy now!!! Coooolllllllllll...........

He is starting solid now. I like to feed and watch him put his fingers in his mouth at the same time. So, he hands get all dirty and put it everywhere around him and even try putting his toys in is mouth full of food. We tried squash, carrots and peas and sweet potatoes cereal. He is getting so much better a it and doesn't pouch it out anymore. I think his favorite are carrots just because he seen to eat it better and faster and squash is his least favorite. We got him new closes and shoes because he already outgrow all the ones he had. It is amazing how fast they grow, even if I spend everyday with him, I still can believe he is already 6 month and a big boy now.

On Saturday, we went to see granpa Riggs. It was nice to see him again, We spend about two hours and talked about a whole lot of stuff. We will probably see him at least once a month and give him some company. It was nice for Alex to meet his first great-granpa. At first, he was a litlle weird and was staring at Daddy while he was on gradpa's lap but after a while he was ok with it and started to look at grandpa and smile at him. Then he did belly time on grandpa's carpet and actually enjoy it. Next time we go there I will get a picture of grandpa and Alex to post.

Our hero

What can we say about Daddy? He is like Superman, our own super hero. Daddy works all day and goes to school too and yet he finds time everyday to spend with us even if it is 10 mins. or 30 mins. We love all the time we spend with him, because he is so much fun anf makes our day better when he is around. He makes our life so confortable and spoils us very much. Some days, he will come home really tired with black stuff under his eyes and yet he still stays and play with us.He is a wonderful Dad and a great husband who we love with all our heart and very greathful for him. I hope one day, we will be able to show him how much he means to us and how wonderful we think he is.

Alex loves playing with Daddy and the other day, he even cried when Daddy left to go to the store.He was playing with Daddy and when he left to go to the store, Alex started to cry. That was the first time, he actually did that, usually he just get a sad face but not actually crying.

We love Daddy very much and hope we could make him as happy as he makes us.

story time

Last week, we got him some books and a wonderful bedtime story which he loves very much. So, I read him story almost every night, when I am not too tired. Look at him ready his book, it is about car with a big pictures and shiny colors. Doesn't he looks adorable reading his own book? Looks like, he is actualy reading and loves trying help flipping the pages while I read to him . He is such a lovely kid.

Right now, he is pulling out my shirt and making Baby noises. He is become so active and so much fun to play with.

Big boy !!!

Alex is getting so much better at holding his own bottle. Now, everytime it is feeding time, he always try to hold his own bottle. At night time, he always help by holding his bottle while I change his dippers, which is so nice since I am always so sleepy.

I am learning to quilt now, so Sister Arthur is teaching me. We been going to her apartment since yesterday and Alex loves playing with her kids. He had a great time there and barely sleep because there so many distraction around. He loves playing with their faces and watching them running around like crazy. Her kids are so sweet and wonderful, there are Jhon, Eren, Hannah and cute litlle Rebacah. They always have all those cute stories, I can wait when Alex start talking so he could tell cute and wonderful stories too, now, he just blabbers or plays with his spits.

Family time

On Friday, we all went to the archaid with daddy for our monthly family activity. We got that child carrier where he could just strap Alex in front of his stomach. They look so cute together, and Alex love it. We got a couple of price, Two stuff aninals, a dog and a frog. We had a great time. He loves his new toys and even enjoy chewing on them.
