shenanigans!

Lately, Alex had tried to take his shirt off by himself and today he had succed. He is such a clever child, but still working on his pants, got his diapers though. I am just hoping he won't try to take his clothes off in public.
First, pull his shirt over his head, where he walks all over the place like a mad kid ( hitting himself on the couch or wall because he couldn't see). He was sad watching him bouncing everywhere but I got tired of pulling his shirt down and I want to see if he will actually get it out. And I figure the earlier he learns to put his clothes on my himself the better, except the fact that he only knows how to take them off for now .
As soon as he got it over his head, pull it out arm by arm, pretty clever for a 21 months.

Sweet victory!

Alex's new sitting area.

He will come push the TV and make himself a confortable spot to sit and try to watch TV while sitting next to it. I have no idea where that kid gets those wild ideas from, but he sure keeps us busy and entertain.
My litlle wild child!
Posing for the camera !
By the way, he wasn't crying; Just screaming on top of his lung because he is Alex. He thinks that's pretty cool.

Happy Birthday Suze !

Yesterday, we celebrated my birthday. It was wonderful and our litlle family had a great time. Alex even sign his own card (with the help of Daddy), he brought it to me but did not actually want to give it. I got some cool books from Matt and he even took me shopping for baby outfits, I got the cutest matching outfit for Alex and his brother: Can't wait to put it on them and take pictures,LOL. Also, thanks Mom and Dad for the howsome birthday presents and the card, you guys are great.

Yep, that big huge lady holding Alex is me at 35 pounds bigger than usual. My c-section is schedule for the 18 but I am hoping he won't wait that long. Everything is still doing great, has a good healthy heart beat and will be around 7 to 8 lb. Can't wait to have our litlle guy with us.

Alex acting silly at the restaurent. He was so good, he sat on his high chair and eat his grill chicken and bread like a big boy. He was talking really loud the whole time we were there and was real happy. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful kid.

Always ready for a cute and handsome smile! He is doing a lot better now after his second hear infection and back to being the happy litlle cutie he always met to be. However, we now have to pin him down to give him his medicines which is a real pain especial when I am the one doing it( a lot harder for me to hold him down then Daddy is).

Alex's new hideout.

Yesterday, Alex had discoved a new hideout, under the couch cover. He having a real good time playing there and have me look for him. He thinks that it is hilarious when i found him and yell pick a boo. He is growing up to fast and we are having a great time playing together and hangout just the two of us. Now, he want to do everything by himself, brushing his theeth and hair, putting his clothes on and even shoes. The other day , he put on his shoes on his toes and started walking on his heel to get to the door and tried to go outside; wearing just shoes and diaper, sooo precious.
Always ready for a smile to the camera!

Just seating under the couch cover.

Trip to Tafalga!!!

On Saturday we went to play some miniture golf and had a blast. It was great to go out and do something fun and Alex loved it because he was able to walk all over the place while we watch him from a distance. He saw the fishes and thought they were howsome and spend a lot of time trying to climb up the rocks, good thing he couldn't, so that kept him pretty busy. After Daddy had tought him to play, all he wanted to do was to play with the ball by trowing it or putting in the hole himself.

Don't they look precious!?
Matt teaching Alex to golf. After a short while he wanted to be Alex and go explore.

Playing on the rocks.

Me making my shot, I even got two hole in one. Yep ! That was howsome. . . Both of him were just luck.

Playing in the light house.
He thought going up and down was a fun and even went backwards a few time.
Waitting for more ball to come out.

What we are up too.

Absolutely nothing! At least for now. . . We just been enjoying the nice weather and sunshine. For Memoral Day, we went to CO and had a great time hangout with families. It was very nice to see everyone and meet Brittany. Alex had a great time going up and down the stairs and getting unto anything he should not. It was sad to come back home but we are making the best of it until Baby #2 come.

Alex loves bath time and gets one almost everyday, unleast I am way too tired.

Alex is sleeping a lot better now since we started a routine, even have a bed time now, take a bath, read scripture, pray, sing a song and read a book which work wonders, he sleeps 11 hours at night and take a two hours nap. He had his 18 months old check up last month, he weight 22.42 lb and is 32.5 in tall, he is one healthy kid and does a lot of climbing, running and keep us pretty busy and entertain around our small apartment. He also have been learning a lot of new trick, if I put his shoes on he will go straight to the door and try to unlock it and open it. He is a wonderful kid and we love having him. He loves watching Go Diago Go and try to do everything they do. Last Sunday, He finally stayed the whole time in nursery( Proud mother moment. . .tears), when he saw us he was so excited and I even got a hug.

I am doing great, tired but great. I slept a lot less now and take more turning to get comfortable. Today I had my 7 months appointment and everyting is great. The baby is doing great and kicks like he is playing soccer and you can see my bully going up and down when he does kick wihch all the time. I will have a c-section on either the 17 or 18 of August if he does not come earlier than that. We are really excited for Alex to have a brother to play with or pick on.

Matt is going to school and work year-round. We are so proud of him and we love having him home. Alex love playing with Daddy, since he the one who is able to throw in the air or help him jump on the couch. Alex gets so happy when Daddy is home. Matt is so wonderful and patient with us even when we take up all of his free time. He never mind helping around the house no matter how tired he gets and always make sure I have ton of food around so I don't stay hungry. We love you Matt and appreciated all the things you do for us.

That poor litlle guy got stuck in our window while we were in CO. Alex thought that was pretty cool.
