Our hooligans !!!!

We just been having a great time getting to know our litlle hooligans. They are such great kids, and Alex is gowing up so fast. He is starting to understand a lot more now, he can climb the playground all by himself now and sleep for 12 hours at night and two to three hours at nap time. he likes to strap his seat bealt all by himself and does a very good job at it. He is a very happy kids and finally learning to talk. He can say thank you, cool, fish, jump, dig, mama, baby and loves giving his sister her pacifier. He doesn't climb the table much anymore but loves climbing the couch to sit by the window.

Gene is doing great, she is getting chubby and loves to be held. She is sleeping pretty well and only waking up once or twrice during the night. She is always smiling and very happy baby. The other day, she was doing belly time and roll over, that was pretty cool. Alex is just waitting for the time where they will be able to get in trouble together.

Alex and I have been spending some quality, alone time together. He had spent so much time playing by himself while I take care of Gene, that I decided to take him out, just the two of us. On tuesday, We went to churck e cheese while my friend LeighAnn watched Gene. We had a great time! There were ton of bottons to touch and so many places to climb that he did not know where to go first, so he was just running from one end to the other.

I am glad to got to go there, it was so much joy watching him play and jump everywhere. We had one of the best time, I am sure he was happy not having to share the time with Gene and do whatever he wanted. He is such a good kid, and always so happy.

Moms should never get sick!!!

A sick and tired Mommy with her tired kids, that's the reason why we shouldn't get sick. How am I suppose to take care of my cuties and still keep them healthy, if I can even keep myself healthy?

Alex' new way of driving me nut!

We got Gene a swing because the doctor said she needs to sit up after eating to help with her spitting up so much. She likes it but hates getting buckled in. However, as nice as that sound, Alex just LOVE the litlle music it plays. Everyday, he will play this thing, ALL DAY. He could be in his room and I turn it off and he will come rushing back and turn it back on and run back to his room. So, I've had that song adding to all kind of Diego songs stuck in my head for the pass two days, who know how long I will be able to take this before I turn completely insane. Oh! Alex , he is something , our litlle wild boy. . .

Blessing Day and a month old.

Yes, time goes real fast, Gene is a month old. She is a smily litlle baby and so calm and quiet. She is already sleeping from 5 to 6 hours at night. She loves to have people close by and playing with her while she is awake. She also have a howsome big brother who makes sure she stays up during the day so she could sleep long period of time during the day.

Thanks Dad for driver here to come meet our litlle cutie pie and celebrate Matt birthday with us. It sure was fun having you guys around, we love it when you come by.

Yesterday, we had the change to bless Gene and she received the most amazing blessing ever. Matt did just a great job and we were happy have family around on that special day. She is truely a blessing to have and that was the most howsome suprise ever, couldn't have it any other way.

And of course a picture of Alex doing his regular shenanigans. Now, he wakes up around 6:30 to 7:00, but I usually don't get him out of bed until 8:00 or 8:30. He usaully just sit in bed talking to himself or bangging toys he found on his bed. I decide to put his bedtime an hour earlier ( 8:00), so he could get at least 11 hours of sleep at night and we won't have to drive each other crazy at 7:00 while we wait for his bed time.

I am truely greathful for my two wonderful children, they are our bundle of joy.

the sweetest thing !

On sunday, Alex did the sweetest and most adorable thing ever. Gene was crying, he went and got her pacifier and put it in her mouth. That was so sweet, it is nice to see such a sweet side of my litlle jungle boy. We are so bless to have such a wonderful kid. He is getting better at listening to and even get himself in less trouble when we are home. At first, I was really worry that he was going to fell neglated but he is still really happy and I try my best to spend one and one time with him whenever Gene is asleep.

Three weeks old and first sunday dress!

Well, we survive three weeks and she is doing great. We change her formula brand from similac to enfamil, now she is eating and sleeping a lot better. Every kid is different, Alex did not like enfamil and Gene seem to do a lot better with enfamil tham similac. She is getting bigger and taller and even darker, she is already darker than Alex. We are so glad to have her as part of our family and that was the most howsome suprise ever, couldn't have it any other way.

Alex has finally noticed the baby, it was pretty cute. He was really excited and was talking to her (or himself...who knows), but it was really cute to see. He was touching her GENTLY on her head and feet and laughing at her hiccuping. For some weird reason, he thinks listening to her hiccuping is the funniest thing he's ever heard. Now, whenever she will cry, he will come and stand by the bassinet and look at her, or sometimes, he will go up the couch and take a peek at her. I am glad to see him finally realizing there is someone else here and that she is entertaining.

How Alex spends his time !

We put Alex's toy in the living room and he will spend a long time emptying and getting inside the bin and talk to himself. He is pretty intertaining watching him play by himself. He is such a lovely child and very dependent, he is doing so well with the baby around like nothing change.

Two Weeks old !!

We went to her first doctor appointment yesterday and she is doing great. She is healthy and right in schedule. Now she is 7 lb 3 1/2 oz, 21 inches long, and everything looks good. We are really excited to have a girl and the fact that she was a suprise made it even better. She is very good sleeper and sleep really well at night time, she even learn to sleep through Alex wild scream .
