Genne Turned Two

Our sweet baby Genne turned two this week and we had a great time celebrating her birthday and making it as special as possible. We did all of her favorite things and foods. We are all so lucky to have this little girl in our home. She is always so happy and fun to be around and loves to do body slamming( whenever I will lay down on the floor or Alex) , even though she have gotten sassier if that even possible but in a good way I would say. She is a really good eater and goes to sleep without a fight most days. We love every single one of her strong dependent personalities.

Here is a recap of her 2nd birthday celebration .
Warning....Lot and lots of pictures

We started the morning with her favorite breakfast... Strawberries, blueberries, apple, grapes and water melon ( cut in the shape of a two)....Lot of fruits and a cup of juice ( she doesn't usually eat in the morning, she usually just want an apple and some juice)
Then we headed to the Temple for a morning walk. She loves to play in the water and all the beautiful flowers there.
Beautiful shoes that my friend ( her other Mom) got her ....Thanks Leah, they were perfect for her birthday theme:)
Dancing
Playing in the water and picking out flowers.
Talking to Grandma Michelle who was wishing her a happy Birthday :)
After that we went to the playground to hangout with friends and play in the slides and sand box...She had a great fun and really good upper body strength...She was able to pull herself up while holding on to the bar.
My little monkeys

After lunch, we all got a nap and woke up on time for dinner and cake. One of my friend made those really awesome cakes and I made a tutu for the cake stand...I really LOVE how it all turned out, exactly what I had in mind.
Then we did a little photo shoot for her and her cakes
Yep, the little one was all hers and we gave her a spoon.
Love her little cake crown in her head...Alex kept pointing at it while saying :" it is the number 2".... The kid LOVE number and yesterday, we found out that he can write the letters I, D and O which he said looks like an oval and an egg ( smart boy).
Big brother wanted in in the fun too.
Them it was time for presents...She opened all her presents without anyone's help and was super excited about her new baby doll and stroller. Now, she can play with her very own iPod with Alex.
We kept the Vinton tradition, so Alex got to open some presents too. We got him a couple of puzzles, he is into that lately and also anything that have to do with numbers and letters.
then, they played with their new toys and even got to stay up late until 11 o'clock ...It was a great day for all of us and we are so lucky to have this little cutie pie as part of our family

We had a little pool party for her the day before her birthday and the kids had a lot of fun.
Happy Birthday baby girl. We love you and treasure every moment spending with you.

We Went Camping...

In the LIVING ROOM, of course, for a whole weekend. The kids had a blast and thought that was the coolest thing ever. They got to stay up late and sleep in...Also, we went camping without the outdoor and the worries of something happening to them in the woods.

Look how happy they are...Totally, priceless :)

The good thing is, they loved to stay in the tent...So, whenever I need a nap, we will all go in the tent with my phone and Ipod and they will play game while I nap...A win-win situation I must say, ha ha ha!

Thanks Matt for being a good sport and putting the tent up for us and taking it down later:)
Trying to take pictures of the kids together...It was some HARD WORKS taking their pictures. They did not want to sit still or let alone next to each other and looking at the camera at the same time. However, I am still glad with the one I got and still they are really cute!
This picture of them looking at the water fountain is my favorite

Yep...Hopefully, one day I get them to stay still and take their pictures.

 And a few more tried
 More pictures of them HERE
I love my kiddos and they are PERFECT just they way they are... Thank you Alex and Gennie for all the silly thing you guys do and the way you guys know how to drive me crazy...Couldn't have it any other way.

A Fun Mud Puddle

We had a little  big mud puddle in front of our apartment the other and our little baby Gennie had some great fun in the. She was in there for at least 3 hours just playing in there and a few time I had to remind here not to drink from it( DISGUSTING). I had to stripped her down before she came inside for a bath but the good news is that she had a great time even if I had to bath her twice because the first bath was much too dirty.

See this dirty little butty, Way cute!!!

 She was in mud heaven!!!

Love you baby girl

One Year Older and Not Much Wiser

I had a great birthday this year with my little peeps. We went to the park for lunch and the kids got to ride the big kids swing and they had a great time going "weeee" the whole time we were pouching them. At dinner time, Alex use his spoon and ate rice for the first time...The best present ever and plus they slept until 9:30.
The best thing was that, this year they were really excited when they saw Matt lighted up the candles, they could not even stay still and was really happy to help me blow out the candles. Genne even blew the first ones before Matt even finish with all of them :) I am really excited for their birthdays this year, now that they understand a bit more.

Helping me blow on the candles
This is one happy boy, right here!
He was so excited that he could not even blow!

Thank you for all the birthday wishes...looking forward to many more with my little peeps
LOVE YOU MATT, ALEX AND GENNIE :)
