Christmas 2012

We had a very fun low Christmas morning this year. On Christmas Eve, we went to spend some time With mom and dad and had dinner with them, we had an awesome time hanging with them. It snowed on our way home that night so we had a white Christmas with the kids LOVED. After we put the kiddos to bed, we got ready for Santa to come and left him some cookies and milk which he enjoyed very much.

Santa come and enjoy his cookies and milk.

We waited for the little rascals t wake up and they were so excited when they got downstairs and saw all their presents... They were shaking from excitements ( the best Christmas presents ever)
 Genne being Genne!
 Ready to open some presents

They LOVE their big Angry Birds

Genne waitting for more to open, hahaha!
She loves her new puppy and calls it "A Dog" or " Puppy"
Alex patiently waitting for daddy to put together his Angry Bird's hot wheel.

Then daddy made us some awesome breakfast

Made my first homemade apple pie with the help of mom.
While we waited for breakfast, we got to skype with Grandma Michelle, Aunt Roselaure and Aunt Jasmine... It was the best way to celebrate Christmas ever!
Genne's Christmas outfit that I made for her :)
Then later on, we headed to grandma and granpa Vinton to continue celebration with the rest of the family. Most of my pictures did not turned out well ( a bit sad) but we had a great time.

Hope you had a great Christmas as much as we did!

Decorating the Tree and Visit to the North Pole

On Wednesday, we decorated the tree and the kids did most of it by themselves. It was so cute watching them decorate the tree and get so excited. They loved putting the ornaments on the tree and Alex especially loves to look at himself on the shiny ornaments and making faces at them. I love this time of the year and I am grateful for every minutes I get to spend with my kiddos.

Our tree... They did a very good job decorating it and I am glad we let them do it by themselves.

Love how this pic turned out!

This morning we got to see Santa at our ward primary Christmas breakfast .. Genne was really excited to see Santa and Alex did not know any emotions about it. They were super excited when Santa arrived and suddenly got really nervous when we got in line to go see him. Genne did not want to go alone so Matt when with her but Alex went like a big kid but just wanted his candy cane and got right off his lap as soon as he handed him the candy. After all the kids went, Genne decided she wanted to go again and that time all by herself, so she slowly walked to him and sat on his lap looking really shy and nervous but she did it all by herself ( Proud of her for her courage)

Happy to see Santa!

" Telling " Santa what they want for Christmas... They have been some awesome kids this year so I am sure the big guy will be nice to them and bring them something cool!

After what happen yesterday, I am even more grateful for having them with me and know that our Heavenly Father is watching over us at all time and if something ever happen to us or them I know that I will have them forever because of the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus did for us... I love my babies and happy to be able to hear them laugh, complain and even when they are sad or getting in trouble♥

Trusted

Have you ever wonder if kissing a boo-boo for a child really does anything? Well, I have and I come to the conclusion that it is a matter of trust that small child put in you. I know that Genne trust me a whole lot to know that if she is hurt, I can kiss it better and it will be all better. I love the trust that Genne has in me to always be able to make her feel better even kissing the tip of her tongue because she bit it while eating. I also love when she walked away after I kiss it and gave me a hug and says:" Thanks mama for kissing it better, it is all better now". I sure hope that she will always get that trust and even when she know longer believe in "kissing her boo-boos better" but that she can always count on me to make her feel better and be there for her no matter how big or small her "boo-boos" might be. Also, she trust me enough to be able to run in our room in the middle of the night and let me know that she is scared and needs a hug and we can cuddle up until she calms down and go back to sleep.
