Alex new Habit !

Yesterday, he had finally learned to climb over the child barrier that put in from of the bathroom. He was really quiet( usually that is when I worried ) but I could hear him moving things around from the moniter in his room, so I did not go and check, thinking he was in his room. After a while I dicided to go see what he was up to, I did not find him in his room, so I started to wonder where he could possible is since our bedroom door was close, to my very suprise he was standing on top of the toilet, taking things off the shelfs to put them where they belong which is on the floor. At first, it was a total mistery to as how he got in there because I saw him try miltiple time to climb in there and had always failled but now we now that practice makes perfect and to never give up, hope he will keep that attitude when he gets older.

Yes, he had his pacifier, we had a rough and grumpy day! We sure hate it when the sun doesn't come out and we have to stay inside all day.

Two Years Well !

Alex had his two years well yesterday and he is as healthy as he can be. The doctor said he had very strong leg muscles and knees, seeing all those climbing that he does, no wonder. He weights 26 lbs 20oz and his height is 33 3/4 in, he a big boy. One thing that the doctor was a little concern about is that he is not talking or understanding a word, so he wants me to get him evaluate by a specialist to see if we need to worry about that. He also thinks that it is not normal for him to not immediately respond or even turn his head everytimes he hears his name. So, I am going to call them today and will keep you posted. I am sure looking forward to hear him talk because I am sure tired of hearing him scream at me everytime he need something. he is such a great and happy and smart kid who brings so much joy into our life so it is a little sad to wonder if he is developing ok.

A little update!!!

Alex is definately getting too big for the crib. Two days ago, we found him taking paint off the wall from his crib. So, we decided to move his crib off the wall but he climbed off the crib and I found him on top off his dresser trowing everything down. So, last night I put him to put on his big boy bed and he actually staed there. At first, just half of his body was on the bed but after I put him back to bed he stayed there. I am so very happy to have him sleep in his bed and now I can fanily put Genne in the crib.

Genne been sleeping for over 8 hours at night. This so great consider Alex used to wake up every two hours until he was 5 months old. She is such a good, calm baby who loves to smile. We are so bless to have two wonderful kids who make our lives so happy and wonderful.

Happy Birthday Alex !

Today was Alex's Birthday and we had a great time making him feel extra special today. . . We are all sick, so it was just the four of us. First, I made him pancakes for breakfast fallow by a nice bath . He was looking really cute and even had a nice nap after playing until his heart contents. After his nap, we went to Toys R Us to get him something, they gave him a party hat and a birthday ballon, he even got some brawnies at KFC when we went for lunch. We going to make him a cake but there were smoke coming out og our oven, so we whent to Albertson and gove him a banana cake, it wasn't so bad but not that he did care anyway. After playing in his new playhouse ( too big to wrap), he opened his presents and the big hit tonight was a set of keys with light that grandpa and grandma Vinton got him. He got some pretty cool toys, not that he did not already have so many, a guitar( Genne gave him) a new book for church and a few of other things, he is one spoil kid. We had to keep the Vinton's tradition by getting the sibbling something too, so we got Genne her first baby toys, which she will love as soon as she can hold things.

Two Years Old!

It have been two years already since we had Alex, the best two years of our marriage. He is such a great kid and so happy all the time. he is loving, kind,happy, energetic and anything we could ever hope for and much much more. We love our little Tarzan and are greatful that he chose to be part of our family.

Gene @ two months !

Today was Genne two months check up. She is healthy, happy and doing well. She is 10 lbs and 7 oz, 22 inches, she is a little bit short but her mom is not that tall either, lol. She is always smilling and loves to be held. A little blurry but still cute.

Fall !!!!

I love fall, my absolute favorite season. Today was such a great day that I decided to take a walk with the kids. Alex really enjoyed it and had the best time.

Big boy bed !

We tried to put Alex in his big boy bed last night, when I went to check on him two hours later, he was asslept on the floor behind the door. So, now I am just going to use it for nap time, until he is use to sleeping in there.

He likes his new bed, but he rather plays with it than sleeping on it, oh well!

He won't sleep without his pacifiers, I figure it is ok, since he only use it while going to sleep.
