Alex Loves his Ipod.

Alex loves his Ipod and learned so much from it.

Colors. shapes, count to 20, count back from 7 to 1 and his ABC and he even recognized them when he sees them.

My baby Gennie is 18 months.

Can't believe my little sweetie is 18 months, time sure go by fast. She has grown up so fast and learned so much .

 Some facts about our baby Gennie!

 She is sassy, bossy, sweet and loves big brother. Her favorite food now is white rice and beans ( our little Haitian girl) and black olives, although she will eat most things. She loves to watch Wiggles, Team Umizumi, Bubbles Guppies and Mickey Mouse Club House. She loves dancing to all kind of music and will dance with me while I do Zumba and our Just Dance games for the Wii. She is full of energy and make sure to use it all everyday. She also enjoys watching me chasing her around the house to do her hair. . .little that she knows, I don't care, I WILL DO HER HAIR even if she takes it off 10 minutes later and I have to do it while she is trying to run.

Valentines

This year Valentines was all about our little love buds. We dedicated all day to the ones that will always love you no matter what. We started the day with a yummy chocolates chips ( made especially for them, which they did not eat by the way )

Then, they got to open their baskets before Matt headed off to school. We made it the night before with a few things that they can enjoy and not to forget a box of chocolate.

Gennie loves teddy bear and she was happy to get one to add to her collections.

Later, when Matt got home, we took our cuties on a date. Alex and I went to Tacanos while Matt and Genne went to the Japanese steak house where she had a great time watching the chef cook the food right in front of her.

Flowers that Matt got me, I am married to such a sweetheart who did not mind making valentine's day special for the kids. I am thinking, we may make this a tradition because none of us really do care that much about valentines day.

A diaper + a Pink Fluffy Boots = Cutest Baby Girl Ever.

 Our baby girl is a super girly girl. She loves shoes and will wear anyones. She especially loves her fluffy boots and if I don't put it away, she will wear it all day long, like yesterday! She was looking so cute in her diaper and boots that I did not mind having her wearing it all day long.

She, also, loves to help touch everything when I am doing the dishes or making dinner.

Genne's First Day in. . .

Nursery 

We I been waiting for this day since she took her first step 11 months ago. . . Can you believe, she been walking for that long?!. . . Matt was sick, so I took them to church today by myself ( Thanks to Nivea, my visiting teacher( the best visiting teacher ever), who sat with us Alex in Sacrament, Genne was too busy running wild in the foyer. I drop Alex first and sat him in his little chair, then next, came Miss Missy Genevieve. As soon as I open the door, she walked right in and find a toy to play with. Then, when I was leaving, I told her and she wave goodbye and kept on playing. I lone you baby Genne and will miss having you with me in RS.

Did Gennie's hair yesterday, which look so cute but only last a few minutes. Doesn't she look precious?!

Olives

Genne loves olives and thanks to Grandpa Vinton, she, now put them on her fingers before she eats them. She will eat a whole can if we let her.

This year we are doing Valentine for the kids, Matt is taking Genne out and I am taking Alex. I'll let you know, how that goes. . . I am super excited about it and even making them a small valentine's basket :)

Waiting for Warm Weather

With Matt crazy schedule and the cold weather, we haven't been up to much lately. Just trying to keep each other happy, sane( most days) and entertain. We only get to see Matt on Saturday, so we try to do some fun stuff and get out of the house. Last Saturday, we went to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point and Olive Gardens, we had a great time, (especial Genne, she was running around talking and laughing). To keep myself busy after the kids are in bed, I've been working on some crafts projects( HERE). Matt, of course, is pretty busy with school and work , and still spend all his free time with us.

The Kid can Sleep anywhere.

So, this poor little guy feel asleep sitting up with his head on his music table. I must say, I do admire and even grateful for the fact that he has no problem feeling asleep if he is sleepy.

I pick him up and put him on the couch and Gennie decided to get comfortable on him while he was asleep. She just can't get enough of big brother :)

 Genne loves to give hugs (especially Alex) and he gets lots and lots of them and most often will hug back or give her a kiss.

I love my babies and grateful for the love they have for each other.

Greatest Big Brother!

Gennie loves to sit on Alex and even lay down when he is on the floor. It is so nice to know that my kids really love each other and love spending time together. I think Gennie has the best big brother in the whole world!

I am a Big Boy Now!

My baby boy is growing up. He went to his first primary meeting today and last the whole time. Even though, he doesn't talk but does understand most things, I am so proud of my little cutie. 

Now, I just need to get ride of Genne for two hours in nursery, hahaha.

How did I get so Lucky?!

I am having some really tough time this month, so I wanted to write down the things that make my days a bit better. I love my babies, they are great together and really enjoy each other company.

• Genne loves to give Alex kisses and hugs.Usually, she will run after him, tackle him and kiss while she sit on him.
• when I want to wake Alex up I can just send Genne in the room and she will start kissing him all over his face until he is awake.
• Genne gets real excited when Alex opens the door and comes outside after his nap, she always to him and hug him
• Alex loves to make her laugh. Sometimes, he will stand in front of her until she looks at him, so he can make bubbles with his mouth and they will both laugh really loud.
• Alex thinks is so fun to have Genne chase him around our apatment.
• Alex always give Genne whatever she wants because of that I am having a hard time teaching her to share.
• Genne is a total daddy's girl, she will get really mad if daddy is around and not holding her.
• Alex finally decided it is fun to play with me , he will say " I am stuck" whenever I sit or lay down on him and loves to be tickle.
• Alex loves to sing and most often I have no idea what he is singing but I love to listen to him.His favorite songs are ABC and Popcorn Popping (the Children Songbook)
• And they are the cutest little munch-chins ever 

I am so grateful to have those two and hope that I am able to do a decent job taking care of them. They sure make life a whole lot better and happier.

Genne is a big girl who sits on her little stool and eats her dinner (even has her own set of forks and spoons), Alex still refuse to eat anywhere other than his high chair. If I ever try to put his food at the table, he will pick it up and put in on the hight chair and climb in it to eat, funny kid ( afraid of change I guess, no wonder he eats the exact same things everyday).

Happy New Year, Everyone.

It finally decided to snow two days before we head back home. I wanted to make a snowmen but the snow was way too fluffy for that, we still had a good time for the little time we were there( it was about 9 degrees). Alex was finally excited about the snow and wanted to play with it.
