Reindeer's food
Last night before we put the kids to bed, we made reindeer food with them. It is really easy to make and all you need is: oatmeal, sprinkles and glitters( we did not use glitters because of a certain little girl who eat everything). They thought it was really cool and Genne did try to eat some( good thing I only use sprinkles)
Alex, looking really excited, ha ha ha!
Genne was more unto it than Alex as usual!
Mixing everything together!
Them we pour it unto a little plastic bag...Then they were all ready to put next to Santa's cookies for the oh-so-tired reindeer
After all, we took a much needed cookie break !
The finishing product...Looking forward to making them again next year with the kiddos:)
Hope you guys are having a great Christmas so far.
Be back later for our Christmas post!!!

Rice Crispy House
Last night we made rice crispy house because they were out of ginger bread houses and the one we got was broken behind repair ( Way to wait for last minutes). It was a whole lot easier than I thought and really fun, they kids had a great time "helping"... Ok more like eating the frosting...
Putting candies on the house
The were busier eating the frosting than helping decorating the house
Our very first rice crispy house
My little helpers
Frosting eating Genne
Alex playing around
Genne dipping her candy cane unto frosting and our little ninja on top of the house ( Matt did it)
Can you lick your own elbow???
Glad to be spending Christmas with my favorite people!!!

Putting Together a Nativity
To keep up with the real reason for this Holiday, we decided to put together a nativity with the kids. they had a great time putting the stickers on while we try to explain about the baby Jesus ( they were not really listening but I am sure it will all be worth it some day)
FocusSee how everything is everywhere...The best way to do according to Genne and Alex!!!
Alex's master piece
Genne's
I am grateful for Jesus and all he had done for us ...And especially the opportunity to go live with him and our Heavenly Father some day!!!

Visit to the North Pole
Yesterday, we went to see Santa and the light at Riverwood , it was fun and Alex saw the coolest thing, fire. The kid love fire! The lights are really pretty there even in the cold, I enjoyed looking at them and taking some pictures.
Look at those happy faces staring at the fire!
The whole gang...A lady was really nice and offer to take our picture ( apparently, my camera is what she wanted instead of hers). Alex and Genne had a great time playing around with her son!
The reason why I should not be holding Alex...He is getting WAYYYY to big for me!
Alex in Santa's chair while we were waitting for...BTW, WE WERE THE FIRST ONES TO SEE HIM, BWA HA HA HA...Glad we did not have to stay in the cold for too long.
Genne in the big chair
When Santa got there, Alex was a bit nervous and was holding ready tight to me, I thought he wasn't going to go for it but as soon as Santa call him, he run and gave him a hug and run back to me, ha ha ha! I guess Genne figure that this big guy was ok after all since Alex hugged him, and run to him and also gave him a hug...It was so cute and Santa was so nice
yep, Genne was wearing a bow on her hat!
See HAPPY
Love when Alex laugh so hard!!!
Hope you guys are having a great holiday and making great memories!!!
