Medical updates

Took the kiddos to the doctor today for their well check since we moved. They are going great . The doctor want us to get Alex evaluated and figure out exactly what is going on in the smarty head of his and get him diagnose. Genne did great and did what ever the doctor asked her to do and Alex was a little nervous but still did really well.  Their new doctor is awesome and really friendly with them.

Alex:
 WT= 34 Lbs in the 3%
HT= 42 inches in the 17%
BMI= 3%

Genne:
WT= 33 LBS  in the 49%
HT= 39 1/2 inches in the 70%
BMI= 31%

I also had my appointment today and I am 31 weeks along and baby is doing great ... Can not wait to see her and hold her!

Visit to the Park

Since potty training did not go so well, I decided to try again in the summer and took the kids to the park today. We had an awesome time climbing, jumping, swinging and running around. By the time we were done, I was sooo tired from running around with them but they had a great time!  After the park we went to Mc Donald for lunch and poor Alex was very upset because he saw a Red Box with Wrack-it Ralph and wanted to watch and no matter how I explained to him that was not possible, the poor kid just did not get it and people were watching... I was just thinking, the poor kids is autistic and barely understand anything I am trying to tell him so stop the staring and move on with your day!

Potty Training the boy- Part I

I must say, our first day was not so bad except for the fact that he did not once pee on the toilet but instead all over my couch and carpet! He did however poop in the potty and we had a little "pooping party"... He was so excited and we even got to skype with Aunt Roselaure and told her all about it. I am not sure if he knows when he has to go pee or not but we will do this until Sunday and see how it goes. If he still doesn't get it then we will stop and start again in the summer since I can't send him to school in underwear if he doesn't know when he has to go!

He wanted nothing to do with standing up and touching anything so we are doing it sitting down!

Our Little Diva

LOVE my little diva girl!!!

Update on Alex's Speech

The boy is finally starting to communicate now. He is using his words more and more and even using full sentences. He had made such a great in the last two weeks with his communication. We are very proud of him and all his efforts. He talks a lot with Genne and it so cool listening to them talking to each other and laughing. Now, we just need to get him ready for kindergarten in the fall... Hope he will adjust well!

 Love my little big boy

Railroad Museum

On Saturday ( March 2) we went to the railroad museum with Lisa and Erin and had a great time. It was a nice day and the place was muddy from the snow but that did not stop us from having a great day, they were so excited to see the train and Genne was just happy to have her cousins around. After that we went to Ikea for some photography props. Also, we got to see grandma and grandpa Bakers and had dinner with Lisa and her family. It was a long day but a very fun one.

 As always, it is always hard to take a group shoot of those punks but at least I got one!!

And of course no fun day is complete without some sassy attitude from my little diva!!

Update on baby #3

Yesterday, we got our half way ultrasound and everything looks great. Baby is doing really well and very active... The little rascal was moving so much that the technician had a hard time seeing what she needed too. The new ultrasound put my due date to the 15 but she said not to worry to much about and still keep June 10th in mind. I can not wait to hold this little cutie and see what he/she looks like.
We also took the kids to our appointment and Alex was just Alex but Genne talked about the baby and even said she wants a baby girl. She also  thinks the pictures of the baby is silly ans that they are baby Genevieve's pictures, hahaha!

How cute is that!!!

Enjoying Life

It is cold in here, so we just been having as much fun as one can have inside our house. Life is treating us well.

            Alex is progressing a whole lot with his speech. He is actually answering "yes" or "no" questions which have made life a lot easier for us. He is interacting more often and seem to be wanting to communicate more. His teacher are very proud of him in school and they all always have nothing but great things to say about him. They said that he is interacting with his classmates better and knows them all by name and will often try to talk to them. We are very proud of his accomplishment, especially teaching himself to read, he is such a smart little guy. He is now in CTR 5, my little guy is growing up too fast. He have added noodles to his diet, so now he eats pizza, hotdogs, noodles, bread, tortilla, chicken nuggets, waffles and pancakes ( boy oh boy, does this kid loooves his pancakes).

Genne is as sassy as ever and full of personality. She is very sweet , especially to big brother, she likes to give him hug when he is upset and the only one who can calm him down when he is having a bad day. Whenever, Alex is crying, she will hold her arm up and say: " Come her buddy" and Alex will go to her and she will pat him on the back and tell him"it's ok", that usually do the trick to calm him down but when I do that he just get worst! She still wants to stay in school with Alex, so I am in the process of hopefully getting her to go this fall. She can count to 10, know her colors, really good at saying "please" and "thank you" and is our litlle social butterfly. She is now a sunbeam and is trying to get use to the no snack and toys. Her new favorites to eat even though she eats pretty much anything is egg and pancakes, so we have that 4 or 5 time a week now.

Matt is working hard as usually to provide for us. He is enjoying his job and happy to be close to families. we love when daddy is home. He is now in the primary. He is happy and that is all we can ask for♥ and soon he will be a daddy of three.

I am doing ok, not too crazy about the cold but I'll get over it. I am half way through my pregnancy and get to find out what we are having on Monday ( so excited). Alex been having some hard time in Primary and refuse to go, so now I am his teacher and hopefully that will help him a bit to getting use to go. I am looking forward to June so I hold our little bundle of joy but until then I an just surviving one day at the time.

Here some fun pics for those of us who can't get enough of their cuteness.

PS. stay turn for Monday to see if we are having a girl rascal or a boy hooligan!
