Halloween 2013

We had a great time for Halloween this year mostly because the kids finally understand it and were way excited to dress up. We went up to Longmont and even got to hangout with baby girl from onother mother Peyton ( notice her in our family pic, hahaha!) Love that girl!

Pumpkin Carving

We had a lot of fun carving pumpkin and the kids get to draw a "face" and Matt tries as best as he can do carve. This time they even help take out the guts... They were a little disgusted  and did not want to touch but we manage to get them to touch it once.

To the Pumpkin Patch We Go...

I decided to be adventurous and took the kids to the Pumpkin patch by myself... We had a lot of fun even if it was freezing cold. We even got to ride on a tractor and they had a petting zoo... Alex was a bit nervous at first but after a few encouragement it was willing to touch the rabbit. It is nice now that they are starting to enjoy things and understand and also get excited over things like that.

 I can not believe how big she has gotten... She is so much fun and starting to respond when we play with her. Her siblings love playing with her  

Growing Up too Fast

I am 3 1/2 months and I just learn to roll over and thinks I should do it every time mama put me on my belly now so I can avoid staying there for too long.

All About Alex

He is progressing amazingly well in school. His teachers just love him which makes a whole world of difference. His special aid teacher always have good thing to say about every time I go to pick him up from school. He is currently reading and comprehending what he reads at a 1st grade level according to his teacher so now she wants to bump him up to the end of 1st grade and also do simple math with him.He will come and talk to you now and answer you when you are talking to him. He is also starting to understand daddy's sense of humor and often think that he is pretty funny. You still have to work a little bit to get his attention but when you do, he understand and respond.... We are really proud of all his hard work and love watching him learn new things.

3 Months Old

She is a pretty good sleeper who sleeps through the night, only once in a while she will wake up one time during the night usually around 3-4 AM depending on when she went to bed ( thanks for taking it easy on me) and just super mellow. She is love my many and spoiled with kisses by her siblings. They both always telling her how cute she is and how she is their best friend... I am really grateful for the love and caring Genne and Alex have for Maddie ♥

First Day of School

 Along with daddy's blessing before they went to school, their first day of school was a success.

 Alex had a little hard time possibly because of all the kids and parents around but after school his teacher said he did great. She said he did all his works really fast and correctly and that she wanted to give him more works to do so he wouldn't just wonder around  while he waited for the rest of his class to finish. He also a head of his class with his reading and writing so the teacher wants to work on making him understand what he reads and start simple math with him ( What anyone wants to hear on a first day if you ask me ) .She also mentioned how proud and happy she is to have him in her class and plan on giving him more works to figure out how much he really knows and where his strengths and weaknesses are. I really think he is going to have a great year. 

Genne in the other could not wait to go to school, she talked about it for at least a month now. She was super excited to finally be able to go to school with brother and " play " with toys ( She thinks that is all she will be doing in school, ha ha ha). As soon as she got in front of her room, she run right in... I had to stop her so she can find her name and put her backpack on the little hock! While we waited for Alex after school ( hers gets out 15 min before Alex) I ask her what she did in school and it was the cutest thing listening to her excitement while she tells me everything she did and what she eat and the time she went to the playground

Alex did not want to stay but as soon as he saw his special aid teacher... He just run to her while crying so at that point I knew he was left in good hands :) PS. Alex has some of the best kindergarten teachers according to some parents, makes me happy to hear!

Maddie slept through the whole process of getting the kids to school until I went to get them... Best nap she never had during the day!
