A Friday Morning Walk

I have been walking up really early lately even before the kids wake up...On Friday, I wake up at 6:00 and was done with my morning by 8:00, so I decided to take the kids to the ducks ponds and feed them. They had a great time, Alex thought it was so cool to trow bread in the water and have the ducks rush to go and get it, however Genne in the other hand wanted to go in the water with the ducks which will explain our last picture. It was really cute watching them trying to interact with the ducks and get getting excited about the simplest thing. I am glad we were able to go even though coming back was a total pain in the butt, it is hard work trying to push a double trolling up the hill in the summer.
Mama duck and baby ducks that Genne thought was fascinating!

Thinking Genne: Hmmm! What to do, what to do???

 Watching the water fall

 LOVE those two!
She was obsess with wanting to go into the water with the duck

A little bird that Alex though was really cool...He calls it "birrr-dy"
Than this happen so we went back home :(
Hope you guys are having a great summer...See ya later!

Not your Typical Saturday

This is how our Saturday started at around 2 in the morning and continue for about the whole day. Matt is out of town for the weekend and both kids pick that weekend to get sick and grumpy, so did not make it to the parade. Alex spent all day dragging himself from the living floor to the kitchen ( a was a bit sad to watch) and did not eat a thing all day, Genne spent the day crying and I spent the day cleaning after their vomit which was everywhere( still need to clean their room). I am so glad the end of the day was a lot better, they were happier and we got to go see the fireworks for the first time:)
We went to the field at about 7 PM and they did not do it until 10:30, they played and run around and had a great time(exactly what they needed TO MAKE UP FOR A CRAPPY DAY). I was worried that Alex was going to be scare because of the noise, but he was not and was really happy. He kept saying "fireworks" and Genne was a bit scare at first but totally got over it and started clapping and saying "Ooooo" everything one will appear on the sky. I am glad we got to go see it and grateful for wonderful friends who was there with us.
Here are pictures of our evening ( warming: lot and lot of pictures)

I love watching the play together, it is the best thing ever...I SURE LOVE THOSE LITTLE CUTIES :)

Alex have been playing Angry Bird on his Ipod and he is really good, so Matt got him a set of stuff Angry Birds which he carries everywhere with him. He call the "the bird", silly boy :)
Genne getting Alex "stuck"

Now, This is a great way to end a crappy day

My stylist baby girl who was wearing my friend's son hat :)
A family who was sitting near us gave us some of their Glow-sticks and they kids loved it and played "sword" with them.
 He LOVES the fireworks

Love the look in their faces.

And here a few pictures of fireworks

Daddy will be home today and we made it alive. Can't wait to see him...We sure missed him :)

Update on our Little Charlie ( Gennie)

  • She is starting to talk and understand a whole lot
  • She is really polite and always say her "thank you" and "mama help" when she needs down.
  • she loves to play with big brother and try to do what ever Alex does
  • She loves bath time and will let me do her hair with little complaints
  • Her favorite show is The Bubble Guppies  and The Wiggles
  • She is growing really fast ans a total daddy's girl
  • She loves her accessories as much as I enjoy making them for her
  • She is really sweet and loves to give hugs and kisses and cuddles
  • She is also sassy, a bit bossy to brother and can be pretty dramatic at time ( we are working to taking it down a bit, hahaha)
We are really happy to have this little girl in our life and have helped a big brother a lot on his social skills.
A few pictures I took in CO

She was playing the piano with her foot...silly little girl!

 Isn't she adorable :)
I am still surprise on how fast she is growing, and I thought she was suppose to be short but she is getting really tall! No fair, hahaha!

I LOVE YOU GENNIE (Genne, Genevieve, Charlie or Charlotte)
