Happy 4th Birthday, Alex!!!

Yesterday, my baby boy turn four...Can not believe he is already four...He turning unto quiet the little cutie with patient and loving. He progressing so well and understand most thing we tell him. He is already making full sentence here and there and says the cutest thing. He full of love for his family and have the most tender heart ever...He always looks so sad when he gets in trouble and cry while saying " So sorry, Alex sorry", kind of sad :(. He love sister and play so well with her and even spoil her a ton.

We were up at 7 AM to get ready for school, so I did not have the time to make his birthday breakfast ( which I don't thing he even notice or care) and we sent to school with some treats for his "friends" and the teachers had a little party for him. After he got home from school, he got so excited when he saw his Angry Birds and Sonic outfits on the couch...So, after lunch, he put Genne down for a nap and went outside to have his birthday pictures taking...So, glad that the sun was at least shining so we could do it in the shining and not freeze while doing the shoot.

Here are a few of the pics that we took...LOVE his outfit, they are both hand-painted with great details and even had hat to match. Whenever I will put the sonic hat on his head, he will say " That's so nice"...I am glad he liked his outfits.

After the pictures, we came home and watch Diego and play Angry bird and sonic on his Ipod. After sister wake up, we color while watching YouTube video of Angry Birds...Then he felt asleep on the couch. After Daddy get home with dinner ( he likes fried rice ), We had dinner, then cake and here is his cake...My friend did such a great job with it. Alex couldn't stop talking about Angry Bird when he saw it and was jumping around with excitement. Seeing the look in his face totally worth what I paid for the cake.

Them we did presents and of course Genne also got a couple of thing ( keeping the Vinton's tradition)...She actually pretty happy to open something. We got her a new set of Tea Cups and a new baby, she played with  them until bedtime and first thing this morning.

Then, they got to stay until 9:00 PM to play with all their new stoys.

He got a flashlight that he thought was the coolest thing ever...It has different kind of changeable  images you can put on  to shine through the wall!

why I am so lucky one will ask ?! Well I have those three and I am grateful everyday for them and their love.

No more BINKY

We are proud to announce that our little  Genevieve is off the "kunky"aka binky. She did really well ( cried for about 2 minutes) for the last two nights but tonight she did not even cry when she went to bed. We are very proud of our little sassy girl. I thought, it was going to be really hard because she had a name for it and asked for it ( unless Alex) and sometimes, she will even go to room to look for it under her crib when she wakes up in the morning or after naps. I am really happy on how well it all went, WAY BETTER THAN I THOUGHT.

Thank you Genne for making this experience so easy...Please do the same when time come for potty-training!

A Good Laugh

A Walk to the Mountains

On Sunday, we went for a walk to the mountain and it was beautiful...It's wasn't cold at all ( my kind of walk)  or hot to the point were you just want to pass out...It was perfect weather and we had an awesome time together.

Before we left, Matt was picking some trash out of the car and Genne sitting in her car sit was cheering for Matt. She was like: :"daddy,daddy,daddy...gooooo daddy"(as fast as she could), it was so funny and after that she decided to do one for mommy too...How sweet!!!

So, en case you live in one of those all year green and flat areas, here some pictures, bwa ha ha ha ha!

 If we do end up in FL, I think the only thing I will really miss around here is how beautiful fall and spring are but if we do move to CO...I guess I won't really miss much, ha ha ha!

Pumpkin Carving

Yesterday for FHE, we did pumpkin carving...Was my first time, so I was super excited for all ogf us, ha ha ha! Alex couldn't stop saying " Something, something my pumpkin" and jumping around and laughing( it might have to do to the fact that he was already bed-time). We had a great time and the kids LOVED.

 We let them scrabble all over their pumpkin and Matt was such a sport and tried the best he could to make an image our of it...It all turned our really cool actually!

 Doing my very first pumpkin carving...I am starting to think that I missed a WHOLE  lot growing up.

 See those exciting little faces, after we put the candles in the pumpkin outside on the balcony?! Genne was laughing so  LOUD, I thought our neighbors was going to come and see why some little kid was laughing so loud so late at night!!!

Alex's new phrase

We got Alex a sonic beanie and Matt put it on and came out. As soon as Alex saw him, he yelled: "Look at that... That is very nice!!!". He is quiet the little character, Can not wait when he is really talking and making conversation. He is making such great progress.

Halloween

Yesterday was our ward Halloween party, it was a lot of fun and for the first time, we were all dress up and ready to party. I made most of the kiddos costume, well Genne princess dress and Alex's cape from an old vampire cape ( I add the feather boa  to make look more loyalty) and my witch tutu of course. While we were at the Halloween store looking for some last minute stuff for our costume, Alex spotted an Angry Bird costume and he said :"Angry Bird, Mama" and tried to get me to take it down for him while jumping with excitement, So Matt was such a good sport and decided to wear just for him. Let just say he looked absolute adorable and Alex was very please seeing Daddy as a big  Angry Bird.

Well, to some it all up, Matt was a RED Angry Bird, Genne was Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Alex was a prince and I was a witch ( the good one depend on the day, he he he). We has an awesome time getting all dress up and looking forward to next year, hopefully I will learn to sew better and make up cuter costume :)

Maybe Time for a Big Girl Bed...

Genne is now able to climb out of her crib and every morning she wakes up and starts knocking on the door...OH, THE JOY:)

I went to check on the kids tonight ( making sure they are in bed and did not poop...Alex is late night pooper) and and noticed that Genne was missing from her crib. I looked all over the floor and did not see her so I went to check on Alex and change his diaper( he had pooped) and here she was, asleep with brother. Seriously, I don't know what I did to deserve them but I am sure glad to have them♥ ♥ ♥
