Making Christmas Memories

We had our FHE yesterday since we could not do it on Monday and decorated cookies. We all had a great time hanging out with each other. Alex did not really care for decoration but he had a great time eating  ALL THE FROSTING from the cookies that was already decorated by Matt or me. In the other hand, Genne was WAY  INTO IT  and decorated a snowman all by herself while watching Sesame's Street. I love spending time with my family, they are awesome and always make me feel all happy inside listening to their laughter.

As always, I took WAY TOO MANY pictures and could not decide which one to put soooo here is a lead full of pictures...ENJOY!

Genne decorating and Alex eating frosting.

 Genne's master piece

Hard working on my Christmas tree cookie, ha ha ha!

My master piece...Let just say decoration cookies ans baking cookies are not my best work.

 Our HAPPY children
Matt cookies turned out WAY CUTER then mine :(, ha ha ha!

Alex's pile of cookies but he only eat all the frosting, silly kid!
This is where Genne gets her stinky look from NOT me...Just so you know, he he he!

By the time we were done, they were both covered in frosting, so we had a bath and off to bed they went.

It's Starting to Look Like Christmas

This year, we decided to go with Red and gold and I really like everything turned out. I even got a wreath for  our front door...That's our very first one and I really like it... So, I might get one every holiday!

Got new stocking to match our colors of choice...I was going to make them but I know they would have took me a while with no time to actually enjoy having them before Christmas.
Got a cute garland for our TV stand.
and new floor mats and towels to match red and gold( ignore the bag of potato chip that some little boy put on the floor right before I took the picture)

Then on Sunday, after church, we decorated the tree with red and gold ornaments and even brought a bigger tree which I like way better because we don't have to put it on a table. Genne was WAY EXCITED  about the tree and Alex couldn't care less. When I told him to put an ornament on the tree, he just throw it and run away to his blocks that he was playing with, ha ha ha ...Silly kid! Genne put a few one all by herself and keep talking about the "a T" ( what she calls a tree). We had a great time putting up the tree and I LOVE IT.

Genne put most of the bottom ornaments ALL BY HERSELF.

Alex and Genne putting up their last year ornaments from Grandma and grandpa Vinton with the help of daddy.

Most of our Christmas decorations have glitter on them....LOVE IT, HA HA HA!
Our living before my little tornado destroy everything or bring ALL their toys outside.
Genne making sure all the ornaments are solid and won't brake, ha ha ha. Most of our ornaments at Genne reach have been licked my her or was in her mouth at one point of the time.

 OUR BEAUTIFUL TREE!!!

Yesterday, I warped two empty boxes and put them under the tree to see if the kids will leave them alone and went to the room to get something else...By the time I came back, Genne have opened both of them and was playing with the wrapper...I guess, we will have to wait until Christmas eve to put anything under the tree.

Now, I just need to suck it up and put our balcony lights on...IT IS COLD OUTSIDE!!!

Last Minute Fun in the Leaves

When we got back from CO, ALL the leaves on the tree have feel down already. So before they came and blow all the leaves that was on the ground away, I decided to take the kids outside to play one last time and plus a certain 2 years old was driving me crazy inside the house. It was freezing cold, so we only stayed for a a few minutes, but they had enough fun to make our afternoon go a little better. This is the very first time where Alex let me buried him in the leaves and did not freak out, I even got to trow him on a pile of leaves and he was just laughing instead of crying :)

Alex, finally figured that a big pile of leaves is FUN!

5 Years ALREADY?!

Last week, celebrate our 5th Anniversary and let just say this have been the BEST 5 YEARS IN MY LIVE and I am glad to be looking forward to many more.
In honor of our awesome life together, I thought I will write down 10 reasons why Matt is the most wonderful husband in the universe...Yes, I said UNIVERSE!!!

  1. He is VERY supportive of ALL MY CRAZY ideas
  2. He never get tired of me and my ideas
  3. Not a day goes by that he did not tell me how much he loves and how beautiful I am ( a girl can never get tired of listening how beautiful they are, right?)
  4. He works hard everyday with little sleep so I can do ANYTHING that I want to do which is staying home with Alex and Genne... And he never complain about it.
  5. He always put everyone needs before his and is the most generous person I know.
  6. He spend his little free time playing with the kids and don't mind them running around all over him while he is napping on the couch or floor.
  7. I love listening to him talking about how he wants to help other people and make their life a little bit easier and our plan for the future.
  8. I still get super excited when he calls during break or on his way home, even more now then I used to when we were dating.
  9. He is sweet, caring , loving and most especially HE LOVES ME
  10. I love him then, now and always will, for ever and ever.
I love my happy life and thanks God everyday that I am married to Matt.

PS. I haven't see him for two days...I can not wait for this semester to end so I can have my baby back!!!

Isn't he handsome?! And he is ALL MINE♥
