Easter Sunday Morning

On Sunday Morning, after church, we went to the duck pond to feed the ducks and have Genne pick up some more eggs since she did not get any at the BYU and was a little mad and disappointed... Genne was more then happy to pick more eggs again and we sat and had some candies.

Easter Weekend~ Saturday!

On Saturday, we did our very first egg hunt and Genne LOVED it and Alex couldn't care less. Genne loved to pick up all the egg even though she doesn't really like candy.

She picked up those eggs as fast as her little self let her... I was amaze how fast she got those thing in her basket

 Then right after, we went to the BYU's "First Annual Egg Hunt" and it was CRA-ZY but we still a lot of fun and really glad we went and got pictures with Cosmo since we did not even know we were about to leave UT in a week or so.

 Genne was scare at first but as soon as Alex went she was totally ok with it.

 She even went for seconds and did not want to leave the Easter bunny!

 It is official, my kids are grow up too fast!!!

My little cutie is improving to fast. He is playing a lot more with us and interact a WHOLE lot more also. He says "daddy" now and knows who daddy is and when he sees other little kids he will go to there and says" Hello there", THE CUTEST THING EVER!

Genne: No
Me: Did you have snacks ( I am pretty sure they had snacks)
Genne: No snacks
Me: Alex, how was primary?
Genne: No primary

Negotiating With a 2 Years Old

So, this last Tuesday, Genne was really upset that she could not get into her 'other' Mom's (Leah's) car because she wanted to go to school with Debbie. (This is pretty common, she gets sad every morning we pass Debbie's house and always tries to follow). So, I decided to take her for a walk! We went to the North Wymount area to play in their playground. They have some really cool toys there - a kitchen, high chairs for dolls, and some other (more random) toys. I was getting a bit cold, and she was not wearing the coat which she refuses to wear now, so I decided it was time to go home. This is where it gets good...

Here is our conversation:
Me: Genne, we need to go home.
Genne: No home!
Me: We need to go have some breakfast
Genne: No breakfast!
Me: You can have Chocolate milk...
Genne: No milk!

Me (a little bit impatient) : You can watch Dora
Genne: ORA! ORA! (jumping up and down)

...We struck a deal and started walking home! HA HA HA!  :) My sassy little girl.



After having a kid that doesn't talk ( he is getting there), it is really nice to be able to talk to her and have her respond... Sometimes, it is not what I want to hear, but it is better than nothing. She is turning unto quit the little chatter-box which I love very much.

Too Slow?!

Alex asked me for a "high five" and after I gave it to him, he told me " Too slow" while running away laughing... Silly kid who pretends he doesn't talk or knows what going on, he he he!
