4th of July -Part I

We had the most awesome 4th of July ever and as always way too many pictures so I had to do some than one post... So, here what we did in the morning ( or at lunch, my little family did not wake up until 11ish, hahaha) The kids minus Alex had a great time running in the water  and having the most awesome time ever. I love it when All THE COUSINS  gets together, remind me of my childhood growing up with all those cousins( we were like sisters)

 IT WAS THAT MUCH FUN

Alex and Angry Bird wondering what to do.

So, this little thing can turn and turn and I completely forgot it was going to get dizzy, so I turned and turned him and as soon as he got down, poor kiddo could not stand up on his own... It was so funny, he kept feeling off every time, I will let him stand on his own, hahaha!

 She did it, hahaha!

Up to the Mountain we Go....

After a super long busy week, we decided to head to the mountain and have some family and enjoy nature. It was a very nice day and the drive up there was very pleasant considered all the fire we have been having in CO, at least they were a little farther away so we were able to go without problem. Some one got lost and took the wrong turn and we head up to a the summit of the mountain at a place called Never Summer ( seriously... Never Summer?! Definitely NOT a place I will choose to visit) It was really pretty and bit scary drive, at least for me. We had some mountain meat AKA KFC and have an awesome family fun.

Pictures of our trip ( too lazy to edit the)

Teenage Years Already...perhaps?!

A couple week ago, we went downstairs to get breakfast but Alex stayed on the third floor playing on his Ipod, so after I was all ready I told Genne to go get him.  And here how it went

S: Genne, please go get brother
G: OK mama
So she went on the bottom of the stairs and nicely calling Alex
G: Brother come down
Then she waited a few seconds
G: Brother come down
a few more seconds later
G: Brother come down
 Then she got really annoyed
G: UGH
Them she stomped up the stairs as hard as her little feet could while screamed
G: ALEX COME DOWN, NOW!
And here come poor Alex crying while coming down the stair with Genne holding his hands... I have no ideas what she did to him but she got the job done and I did not have to drag myself up ALL the way to the third floor to go and get him.

She is such a little bossy character and is chowing way much too of what suppose to come when she is a teenager.

I LOVE MY LITTLE TEENAGE 2 YEARS OLD!!!

Visit With the Cousins

Last weekend, we had the chance to have all the cousins over and had an awesome time. It is so nice living so close to the kids cousins because now they can actually get to know each other and I love watching them play together.
We decided to make the girls matching skirt and white shirt for everyone and took their pictures. Let me tell you, it was NOT easy work, so here are a few funny ones.

Father's Day

We had a great Father's Day hanging with our favorite daddy and Brian and Brittany. We ( B and I, mostly B) made the dads ( Matt & Brian) breakfast in the morning with their presents and cards from their kiddos.
Picture for grandpa Vinton ( Genne calls him papa). I took about 70 pictures and this was the only good one I was able to get out of them all.
Picture for Matt to put in his new office.
breakfast table.

Reading his card from the kiddos.
The proud daddy and his hooligans.
The girls father's Day dresses that I made... I saw it online and they were for about $150 a piece, I really wanted one for Genne, so with Brittany's awesome words of encouraging I decided to make one for the girls and I must say they turned out super cute.

After church, we went to dinner at Brittany's parents house and had a bast .

Thank you Matt for being the most amazing Dad ever and always there when we need you. YOU ARE A GREAT DAD and I am grateful to have you in my life♥
