It's a . . .

Today was my doctor appointment and we are having a boy. . . Yea I know, how I am going to survive with two boys?! Well, I will lock them in their room until they are old enough to go to college, LOL. I weight 100 lbs , which is the second time for me, so that was excited and my due date is August 25th.

How wrong were we, when we thought that Alex had exploir everywhere in our small apartment. The other day, he found a new spot and spend about two hours destroying everything and taking anything on the top shelf and drop them on the floor.

I know, he likes to climb anywhere he can. That explain why he likes stuff monkeys. We can't even have chair around our kitchen table anymore because he uses them to get to the table.

Alex is a good litlle talker, he is starting to repeat word that actually sound like words and he even knows the meaning.

Trip to Miami.

We had a great time in Miami, Alex was so happy to get all the attention and the loving all to himself. He did not enjoy the heat so much, so spend plainty of time in his dipers which he always tried to take out. We also, spended a lot of time at my Mom's restaurent, and Alex dicided to redecorate it by taking all the posters out. . .Granma did not mind, so I let him, she tought that was funny. We got to visit a lot of family and friends, he loved that because every houses were new adventures for him to get in trouble with and people to run ofter him.

One day, I left him in my Mom's room and a few min. later found him on top of the TV. He went through the bed, climbed the night stand and got on top of the TV and then realized that he could not go down , started crying. Poor kid must have been tirrified

His favorite play station, he spend a lot of time putting those CDs on the floor, poor Giney who cleaned them up ( Thanks Giney).

Alex's favorite things was to spend time with Carly, the dog. He shared everything with that dog, his food, his cup and even his pacifier. He was always so cute watching him feed Carly and he was always so gentle while playing with her.

Well, that pretty much all we did because that was a time where everyone is either in school or at work, but we had a great time and it is always nice to see family and friends.

We made it home safely and happy to found a cold waitting for us. Hopefuly, we will be better and we will have warmer weather to go get some fresh air and some sun. We have our next doctor appointment tomorrow, maybe the doctor will be able to let us know what we will have. I will sure keep you posted on any news.

Lesson learned!

Leave Alex on his diaper for a few nim. to see if his bath is ready and find him running around the living room naked. Looking all suprise, like he didn't know I was coming back so soon. He is so precious and cute.

Today was my first doctor appointment and we got to hear the baby's heart, That was so beautiful and cool. Now, we are sure that we will be having onother one on the 28th of August, Just a few days after my birthday. We are very exited and will keep you posted . I am doing a lot better and Alex is doing what he does best, finds new ways to outsmart me and distroys any peaceful day.

Playing in the snow!!!

One day, we went to play in the snow and it could have been fun but Alex thought ortherwise. He did not like it and conplained the whole time especially when he felt and had snow on his face. So, we went up and he was still upset for almost a whole hour, well maybe next year, it will be better.

Bath Time !!!

Alex loves bath time and and getting his hair wet. He sometimes will cry at the end because he want more time, so now he gets one every night before bed. As soon as he hear the water runs, he will come and stand in front of the bathroom door and wait. whenever, he will not stop crying a bath always seen to make him feel better.

A few updates !!!

We haven't been up to much lately, a litlle sick here and there.

Matt started school again and have a busy schedule ( mondays and fridays: he works for 14 hours and still have one class in the morning, and thuesdays and tuesdays: he works from 4 to 12 and school in the mornings. . . So we don't see much of him ) However, we get to see on the weekends and try to make the best of all the litlle time we have together.

Alex have learned the art of sharing, vacuuming, and unplugging things, he loves to share his sippy cup and bunky with Mommy. He's been a litlle sick but looks like he is getting better and he is a pretty happy boy. The orther day, He was in room for long time and when I went to see what he was up to, I found out that he had enptied his drawers and put all his clean clothes on the floor and was asleep on top of them ( Funny kid)I am guessing, he needed somewhere soft and confortable to sleep after a busy day.

As for me , not much to say but that I am doing fine, just a litlle sick. For those who don't know, we are expecting our second child and are pretty excited about it. This one seen to be a lot easier on me , expect for the fact that I am not getting enough rest and my body is a litlle too tired sometime to keep up with Alex. I don't know yep are far along I am, but will let you know as soon as I find out.

Our Christmas letter!!!

Merry Christmas loved ones! This year, we have found ourselves in a situation that many of you understand. Let us paint you a picture to help rouse up some good ol’ memories... Our floor is littered with toys and cheerios; there is a happy squawking and thumping of feet throughout the student apartment at BYU; and there are two very tired, but happy parents.
Suze is the reigning undefeated champion of Mario Party, and in her spare time occupies herself studying under the zen masters of scrapbooking (no better place than Provo!). She feels that her purpose in life has been fulfilled by teaching Alex to dance. Apparently, she also feels like dancing is a skill found lacking in her male counterpart… ***cough*** Anyhow, she loves the snow, and has been living life to its fullest this past year.
Matt still believes he is a superhero and has resumed his ninja training (hiyaaa!). Much to Suze’s surprise he has even found a friend in the process. Now, Matt can be found throughout the week training in Shotokan Karate. Unfortunately, he hasn’t yet found a friend who enjoys talking about stocks, bonds, options, and economics as much as he does.
For Alex, this past year has represented the vast majority of his life! He has learned to rollover, crawl, walk, run, dance, feed himself, amuse himself… wreak havoc, and flirt with girls. Alex generally has no fear of strangers, but this past month we discovered his one arch enemy, Darth Vader. We, also, discovered that Alex had a secret girlfriend (…keeping secrets from his mommy…). One Sunday, a cute little girl just came and stood face to face with him and plunked a big kiss on his lips and even came back for a second (that’s my boy!). We enjoy his wonderful spirit and his tendency to scream like a little girl, what a great kid.
