Update on our Little Charlie ( Gennie)

• She is starting to talk and understand a whole lot
• She is really polite and always say her "thank you" and "mama help" when she needs down.
• she loves to play with big brother and try to do what ever Alex does
• She loves bath time and will let me do her hair with little complaints
• Her favorite show is The Bubble Guppies  and The Wiggles
• She is growing really fast ans a total daddy's girl
• She loves her accessories as much as I enjoy making them for her 
• She is really sweet and loves to give hugs and kisses and cuddles
• She is also sassy, a bit bossy to brother and can be pretty dramatic at time ( we are working to taking it down a bit, hahaha)

We are really happy to have this little girl in our life and have helped a big brother a lot on his social skills.

I am still surprise on how fast she is growing, and I thought she was suppose to be short but she is getting really tall! No fair,hahaha!

Update on our Alex

• He is still not making conversation but is talking a whole lot more. He now understand  when you are talking to him and make eye contact.
• He can count to 20 and can recognize each number and count backward from 7-1 
• He knows his color and also can tell you if you ask him " what color is this?"...Yesterday, he even correct me when I ask him if he wanted a yellow gummy bear and he told me it was write :)
• knows his shapes and can also recognize them where ever he sees them , can also make them with his hands
• He try to play with us now instead of us going after him to play
• He knows his ABC and can also recognize each one when he sees them on my keyboard
• He also use the fork for the first time today ( so proud of him)
• His favorite movie now is Tangled and knows all the song and a few lines that he thinks are hilarious. His favorite quotes are: " Oooo! Mama, I got to get me one of this" and " They just can't get my nose right"
• He LOVES  little sister very much and enjoy playing with her...Today, Gennie( or charlie, thinking of calling her that) was trowing one of her daily drama and Alex took my hand and try to get me to pick Gennie up ...How sweet of him:)
• Also, here and there he will say a complete sentence that makes perfectly sense and answer your questions ( not sure if he was even meet to do it)

I LOVE MY LITTLE GUY  and hope that we can communicate with each other real soon to avoid confusions and frustrations!

Alex's Pre-school Program

Alex had his last day of school last Wednesday and they had a little program. I am surprise on how well he did in school and all that he learned in the little time he was there. His teachers ( he has 4) said that he is always so happy and love singing time and always sing along, he also really good at following directions without a fight... However he is having a little bit of problem participating in other activities, so his teacher ( the one in charge of his class) wants to put him in a class for kids with Autism next year so they can help him participate with other kids and how to play with other kids and be in a group activities. She will be the one teaching that class, so I decided to let him be in the class and see if that will help his social life a bit better and play with other kids.

Below are pictures of him from his program...I had to hold Genne while taking those pictures because she wanted to go to brother. He did so well, smile and wave at us when he sew us and went straight to his chair...He sang in all that songs and did everything they asked him to do. SO PROUD OF MY BABY BOY ! I can't wait for him to be able to talk :)

He has made some great progress since he started school.

• He can follow simple instructions
• He is making eyes contacts with people
• He goes and interact with Gennie
• He tries to brush his teeth

I know those are minors things but it is really big for Alex and I am proud of him :)

Happy Haitian's Flag Day!

This year, I decided it was time to make it big and get the kids into the habit of celebrating their other half ...So, I made them their very first Haitians flag day outfit.

 I made their t-shirts out of a couple t-shirts that my mom sent but were way too big...I really like how they turned out, they are not perfect but they sure look cute wearing  them...I don't want to blow my own horn but "toot toot", I think they are great if I may say so myself which I do,hehehe. What do you think?

  And here is Genne tutu, of course...No outfit is complete with out a pair of bows and tutu...I even make my own image using a picture of the flag to put on the bottle cap for the center of the bows, again...Toot, toot!

Mother's Day Weekend !!!

This year is the first time where Matt was home for Mother's Day and I must say, It was the BEST mother's Day EVER. On Saturday , we went to the zoo and had a great time...Genne was saying hello to everyone,  talking and pointing her fingers to the animals, it was way cute. She stayed up the whole time while Alex felt asleep 3/4 of the way trough. When we got, I got to spend sometimes with my friend Leah which always awesome. Then on Sunday, I had the day off, so Matt did everything the whole day... In the afternoon, we went  and spent some time with Aunt Claudia and Uncle Rick and a few cousins...The kids got to run around with their cousins and eat cake.

Bellow are a BUNCH of pictures that I took while we were at the zoo. There are a lot, so they are mostly for aunt Roselaure :)
