SHE TALKS...

And a whole lot. Most of the time I have no idea what she is saying  but she ALWAYS says "thank you" ( unless you ask her to do it then she won't)...It is the sweetest thing ever, she always says thank you when we give her something, or if she drop something and I pick it up for her. She even says thank you when she comes and take stuff off my plate at dinner . Sometime, when Alex gets home from school, he usually get a candy from school and Genne will take it from him and says :"Thank you, brother". Funny kid, she thinks that all she have to do is say thank you and she can have anything she wants. If you leave the room and come back she always says " Hi mama"  or " Hi dahy". WHAT and NO are her favorites words to say.

She always like to have water in a cup to play with her kitchen and today she kept dropping the water on the floor, so I told she could not have anymore water to play it... 10 minutes later, she stood my the fridge and looked really shy and said : "Mama, water pleeuz!"...I have been trying to get her to say please for so long that I end up giving her the water. Although, I think she knows what she was doing because she had that winning look in her face after she got her water.
She loves to sings and knows her colors...Maybe she will be able to get Alex to talk more someday. I also think that she understand WAY more then I give her credit for.

She is turning unto quit the little character.
See that face...SO GENNE!!!

Genne trowing a tantrum!!!!

Playing in the Snow

So, to stop those kids from getting bored out of their mind this winter, I have decided to take them outside for at least one hour each day. They will be able to get some energy out, get some most needed fresh air and not drive themselves crazy or mama. We had a great time until a certain little girl did not want to wear her hat and gloves and had enough of dirty snow...Ok, ok...Maybe I had enough watching her eat it no matter how many time that I told her NO.
 Alex made a snow ball

All she wanted to do was to eat the dirty snow

She ( I ) even got Alex to push her car for her for a WHOLE minute.

PS. Check the tab on top HERE and HERE for 365 days of Love Letters...I decided to do that way instead, so I can better keep track of it and I can post it every night.

Also, did you notice our graduation countdown...Yet, we are finally getting there and I am super excited for the future...It is looking super promising.

365 Days of Love Letters

I am going to write a letter to my kids once a day for this year and hoping to make it until the end of the year and turn it unto a book...So, I will try to post it on the blog at least twice a week to keep up with it but will always write them everyday before bed. The first ones on top are my firsts. Let see if I can do it because I think it will be fun and also memorable...Maybe when they are old enough, they will be happy I did that♥ . I will always be just one line in a picture so nothing to hard or time consuming.

Wish me luck!!!

2011 In Pictures...A Recap!!!

January was to cold and snowing so we spend our day inside having as much fun as possible

February, we each took the kids out to dinner for Valentine...I took Alex and Matt went out with Genne. We had a great time celebrate the love that we have for each of our kids. Genne also turned 18 months and went to nursery with out looking back:)

In March, Alex started his first day in pre-school and is loving it very much...All his teachers love him and always talking about how smart and calm he is in class.

In April we had Easter and made them some Easter brackets.

In May, we celebrated Haitian Flag's day and I made them a couple shirts and a tutu to wear.
I June, I made them their first brother and sister matching skirt and tie.

And Alex also got a really short hair cut which I was not too crazy about because it made him look so grown up... We also went to CO for Brian's graduation and meet our new nephew.

In July, Great-grandpa Clark died, Matt went alone to the funeral in WA, the kids got sick while he was away...On 4th of July, We went to see the fireworks with a few friends while daddy was away that same weekend.

In August, Genne turned two and I also celebrate my birthday ( my age is for me to know, ha ha ha)

In September, we celebrated Matt birthday and Alex started his second year of pre-school with the same teachers.

We had Halloween in October and I got to made Genne Belle's costume and improvise for Alex's Prince costume.

In November, we took a little mini vacation to CO for thanksgiving and meet our new niece and Alex turned 4 years old.

We got to see everyone while we were in CO and the cousins got to play with each other for a whole week.

In December, we stayed home for Christmas and have the best time ever hanging with each other.

This year, Genne learned to talk and perfected her sassy attitude. Alex is also learning to talk, write his name and spell out words with his blocks...He have made great progress and we are really proud of all their accomplishments .

Hope your year was as great as our and we look forward to another year full with love and happiness  while watching our beautiful children learn and grow.

Happy New year, everyone!!!

SICK, LAZY, CRAPPY BUT STILL VERY HAPPY

Let just say that the kids and I have spend all week in our PJ since Monday and it doesn't look like we will get unto normal clothes anytime soon. It all started with Genevieve coughing then Alexandre followed two days later...Alexandre ( He prefer to be call that then just Alex) haven't had any fever yet but will sometimes cries is he cough for too long...Genne had fevers but I am able to keep it down with some Advil and wake up this morning with stuffy and runny green-booger ( yuck) nose. She is actually sitting on my lap right now and won't let me do anything ( hoping she will let me get up soon, so I can at least clean up a bit).
Even though, we are all feeling sick and not have gotten much sleep , we are still one happy bunch and are looking forward to getting better and having fun!!!

.

We put Netflex in Genne iPod and she has discovered some great  Kids TV show to keep her entertain...Some I am not too crazy about but I don't have to sit and watch them with her.

 Love happy faces
In other to keep our sanity a little bit , we took some pictures which they though was fun...By the way,  I AM SO IN LOVE WITH MY NEW LENS, thanks Matt!!!
