Toy Boxes

So Roselaure got the kids some toy boxes for all their loose toys because they broke their last toy bin. They are really big and I was able to put all their toys in there for about 10 minutes before they got them all out and in the living room again.
Genne making sure they are toddlers proof which they are... Thanks goodness because they are always jumping and standing on top of those things.

And here they are all nice and clean.

Well... He Darn Did it

Alex decided it was time for some redecoration, so he cut up our couch cover to help speed up the process.

Thank you so much buddy... By the way, I am really proud of the way you were holder those pair of scissors so well and for not cutting yourself.

I Guess She Was Sleepy?!

After our lunch today, Genne cleaned up a spot on the floor, went to the couch and got a pillow and blanket. She laid the pillow on the floor and laid down while covering herself with the blanket, then 1/2 a second later she was out cold. I am guessing, she was really sleepy because she doesn't like to take a nap now and always cries when I put her in crib for a nap.

Genne's Furry Friends

Genne  has a big eyes furry friends' collections and every time we go to Hubby Lobby, she gets a new ones. She loves those things and call them "baby"... She rocks them, kiss them and gives them ton of hugs ( sometimes I had to kiss them too). Last night, I was playing around taking some pictures of her and Alex and she wanted me to take some of them ( she made me take a ton of pictures of those things, ha ha ha), so I did! She put them in place all by herself and now she always wants to see the pictures right after I take them ( kind of cute, except when I am trying to take HER pictures and she wants see the pictures while I am taking it). She goes to bed with them, wake with them and even took the monkey to church today and nursery♥

 kissing her monkey.
Hugging them while saying "baby"

CTR 4 and Junior Nursery

My kids went to higher level class in church today. They are no longer baby . Alex is now CTR 4 and Genne goes to the Junior nursery. Today was their first day for the new year ( we were all sick for a while), Genne got mad and cried because we passed by her old class and did not drop her off while we were looking for Alex's class... She LOVES nursery and when we got to her class, she did not just wake in and wave "bye bye" like always, she run all the way in the back of room and was looking like " You going to have to drag me out of  here if you want me out...Now GO ALREADY" ( tears). I have to admit, it is a little sad knowing that they are not babies anymore but happy that they are so confident and independent .

When in the FREAKING HECK did MY babies got SO BIG?!

And of course, I had to make her something cute to wear... So, I made her fabric tutu with matching bows. Love the fabrics tutu so much that I think that is  how I will be making her tutus for now.

Hmmm... Yea...

When you put a couple kids to bed and you hear laughing and things flying around, one may think, "Awww, it's so cute when they play so well together after bedtime, without the screaming and yelling!"...But that is not what I got last night when I heard a very unfamiliar noise... so a little something told me to go check on them, even though they were both still awake. So, I opened the door in hopes that it was nothing (just them playing rough with their toys) but nope, I opened the door to a completely destroyed room with graffiti ALL OVER THE WALL and everything in their closet on the ground and little filthy children covered in Halloween make-up... So I did what anyone else would do...Ok, ok...maybe just me... Sat them on the couch - took their pictures - and give them a bath. By the time I was done putting lotion on them, they were both out cold. Alex even got mad at me for trying to move him around to put lotion on his back while he was trying to fall asleep because clearly it is my fault that he is still awake.
It was part funny, part annoying because I was going to work on some projects that I have been putting off since who knows how long. They looked really funny, but having the room be off-limits is annoying because they have to sleep with us (I got woken up multiple times during the night by a certain little girl who rolls around in her sleep like a fish out of water) and today I have to go clean up the wall, reorganize their closet, wipe their beds, change the sheets and wash the rugs in their room and still manage to go my everyday things done that I had to do today... Al tough, I might need to wait until Matt gets home to clean their room because I don't want them in there and I (obviously) can't leave them in any room by themselves.
The poor walls in our home have been through so much - got the paint peeled of them, were smeared with poop, and now are covered with crayons and Halloween's make-up. Good thing we only have a few more months left before they are going to repaint this place anyway.
Genne was saying "cheese" and Alex was annoyed because he was sleepy (since it was all my fault that he was still up) and I was (clearly) trying to annoy him by cleaning him up and taking his pictures at 10:00 at night.
Messy cute kids
ALL the clothes that was in the closet were on the floor and also stuffs that were on top of the closet's shelf.

Not sure who's hand print that is but I like it, ha ha ha!
Yep, he writes "Nick" everywhere he can, including our big family picture in our room.

This morning when we went to the room, he looked at the wall and said: " What's that?"... Jeez, I don't know... I was hoping YOU would be able to give me a clue on that matter.

SHE TALKS...

And a whole lot. Most of the time I have no idea what she is saying  but she ALWAYS says "thank you" ( unless you ask her to do it then she won't)...It is the sweetest thing ever, she always says thank you when we give her something, or if she drop something and I pick it up for her. She even says thank you when she comes and take stuff off my plate at dinner . Sometime, when Alex gets home from school, he usually get a candy from school and Genne will take it from him and says :"Thank you, brother". Funny kid, she thinks that all she have to do is say thank you and she can have anything she wants. If you leave the room and come back she always says " Hi mama"  or " Hi dahy". WHAT and NO are her favorites words to say.

She always like to have water in a cup to play with her kitchen and today she kept dropping the water on the floor, so I told she could not have anymore water to play it... 10 minutes later, she stood my the fridge and looked really shy and said : "Mama, water pleeuz!"...I have been trying to get her to say please for so long that I end up giving her the water. Although, I think she knows what she was doing because she had that winning look in her face after she got her water.
She loves to sings and knows her colors...Maybe she will be able to get Alex to talk more someday. I also think that she understand WAY more then I give her credit for.

She is turning unto quit the little character.
See that face...SO GENNE!!!

Genne trowing a tantrum!!!!

Playing in the Snow

So, to stop those kids from getting bored out of their mind this winter, I have decided to take them outside for at least one hour each day. They will be able to get some energy out, get some most needed fresh air and not drive themselves crazy or mama. We had a great time until a certain little girl did not want to wear her hat and gloves and had enough of dirty snow...Ok, ok...Maybe I had enough watching her eat it no matter how many time that I told her NO.
 Alex made a snow ball

All she wanted to do was to eat the dirty snow

She ( I ) even got Alex to push her car for her for a WHOLE minute.

PS. Check the tab on top HERE and HERE for 365 days of Love Letters...I decided to do that way instead, so I can better keep track of it and I can post it every night.

Also, did you notice our graduation countdown...Yet, we are finally getting there and I am super excited for the future...It is looking super promising.
